Who: Alecto and Amycus

What: Amycus is finally speaking to Alecto again, probably only to not talk to her again.
Rating: PG-13 for language
Alecto was going insane. Since the dinner at Sirius' place, Amycus had been ignoring her. Her head was still trying to wrap around the idea that their parents were trying to arrange for her and Sirius to be married. Sirius' mother had simply laughed when they told her that they were not going to accept the proposition.
Now, here she was almost two weeks later, and her best friend wasn't speaking to her. She had so much to tell him, and not because she wanted to, but because it was expected. She had not only accepted a date from Sirius, she had made out with him in his bed. This wasn't going to go well. She was fraternizing with the "enemy" so-to-speak, at least that was how Amycus would probably see it.
She stood in the classroom and waited, hoping that Amycus would show up. She had left him a note on his bed earlier, telling him to meet her there.

Who: Severus Snape and OTA
What: Homework in the Slytherin common room
Where: Slytherin
When: Monday evening
Rating: PG
Severus sat in the Slytherin common room in a couch by the fireplace, his usual seat. He was pretending to work on his defense against the dark arts homework. In actuality, he was reading the chapters about legilimency, attempting to learn how to do this on his own. With no one to talk to, though, he understood the concept but had no one to practice it on. Hopefully, someone would stop by soon that he could talk to and try to hear their likely pathetic musings.

WHAT: Doing homework (at least to start)
It was unseasonably warm for January. So warm, in fact, that Paige had been inspired to leave her heavier cloak back in the dorm.
Bad idea. Sure, it was warm for January, but "warm for January" was still pretty cold. Especially in the semi-exposed space at the top of the castle’s tallest tower.
Shivering a bit, she looked through the telescope and made another note on her chart. She was so engrossed in her work that she almost didn’t hear the sound of footsteps on the stone stairs below.
