Lily had woken to a light snow falling outside. That mixed with getting all of her homework done the previous night had made her quite chipper that morning. She had practically jumped out of bed and gotten dressed. She decided to spend a few extra minutes getting ready that morning, an outfit to fit her confident mood. Spending most of her time in the library reading for fun and just studying up a bit more, she had decided it was about time to take a break for lunch.
She made her way to the Great Hall and ate her lunch quickly. Her day felt so perfect. Nothing could ruin it.
