Alecto was laying on a table in the Great Hall, which was currently empty as all students were asleep. She looked up at the star-filled ceiling, mesmerized by the specks of light blinking above her. It had been difficult for her lately, with the looks she had been getting. After coming to the conclusion that it wasn't just her imagination anymore. True, she had told Sirius to tell his friends and be honest, but word seemed to be traveling a little too quickly for her tastes.

	She shrugged. It wasn't exactly a romantic date, but she figured she'd give him the benefit of the doubt. "Sure." Holding his hand was a nice feeling, though. They hadn't done that yet. 	With Sirius, this sort of situation WAS romantic to him - he was sneaking out, with a girl, and not his three best friends. If Alecto could see that, she would understand a lot about Sirius. He led Alecto inside, and sat in a corner table. "What would you like to drink?" he asked her, ready to go over to the counter and order two drinks. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Being a beginner to this whole dating thing, Alecto didn't know much about romance except for what she read in books. She was still learning. A nervous feeling crept up in her stomach at the thought of sneaking out with Sirius, but she didn't attribute it to anything except for nerves.

"Surprise me." Flashing him a brilliant smile, she had put him to a challenge. It was almost a dare to see what choice he would make for her. Besides, she was a girl who loved to be surprised.

	Sirius was popular with the ladies, but he certainly didn't understand the way they think or what they wanted. Instead of getting her a girly drink, he returned to the table with two butterbeers. He figured you couldn't go wrong with that. "I hope you like butterbeer - you'd be a terrible witch if you didn't," he said, jokingly. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Apparently James heard from Andromeda, who heard from Narcissa, who heard from Regulus, who was unfortunately at dinner that night," Sirius said, scrunching his nose in disgust. "James is absolutely livid about it. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't speak to me for weeks." Good thing he doesn't know that I have his invisibility cloak. (Reply to this) (Parent)
