Jeweled Fantasies- OOC Community

Back in October, I put forth this game wide plot for us to have fun with, then RL went to hell for many of us. Not necessarily *badly* just WHOA!BUSY.

With that being said, do we want to re-boot the plot and place it now? The same premise, even the Halloween/Samhain connection but Hekatah not having a clue on the relative time of Earth-dimension's holidays could get wrong... or just not care she did because it's Hekatah.

I'd like to do the concept of the plot, but I can't see that it would have stretched out quite this long, so I was thinking perhaps re-booting it to now? Especially since someone *innocent!cough* is bringing in some more Black Jewels people that will already be all WTF anyways? Well at least 2 of them will be, since Thera and Blaed are not from this time. Chaosti, Gabrielle and Shira, I am sure, will think it's just another day at the office. Heh.

Thoughts everyone?

Ongoing plot for a bit I am putting forth, since it's fairly open ended people can act/do what they want. Just no killing PCs unless you have their permission cause they want to drop them. So!

Terreille:

Those in Terreille who are Blood will sense a strong clash of Red and Black power. The Black feels slightly inexperienced like the person is not used to weilding it. You can tell it's feminine power by the psychic scent of it. The Red is much more tainted in scent whereas the Black is not.

Those who are not Blood. If you are magical, mutant, what have you... you will sense the power, but you are not sure *what* it is. You can sense the taint of something wrong from it as well.

Those who are not Blood and are standard humanoids, you will still sense the wrongness in the air.

Kaeleer:

Those in Kaeleer will have sensed the power emanating from Terreille as well, but do not know what is going on. Those at the Hall will notice that Tersa is gone. So are Vae and Wilhelmina.

Non-Blood will sense the "same" as those in Terreille, just more muted. For those Non-Blood humanoids with no other powers, it's almost like the sense of creepiness you feel when you make the statement someone has walked over your grave or you feel like someone is watching you.

Hell:

Those in Hell with powers will feel a vibration in the air. Blood and Non-Blood both feel this. You don't sense the power quite as much as those in Terreille or even in Kaeleer, but you sense *something*.

Those who keep an eye on such things will note that there is an influx of demon dead activity, screams are heard from the island of the cildru dyathe and it appears those that claim allegiance to Hekatah are becoming bolder and are slightly increasing in numbers.

Go forth and plot to your hearts content. This is kinda coinciding with Halloween/Samhain being in a couple weeks. Hekatah was able to discover some of this information on these "odd holidays" as she sees it by decimating the mind of a NPC Non-Blood human that wound up here like the PCs have. Tersa, Vae and Wilhelmina's roles are going to be revealed as we go.

Just a reminder about kindred (mostly cause I am bringing one in), that members of the Blood can see kindred as their kindred selves, but others see them as their human PBs unless the mun is okay with a magical person/deity person seeing them as their true kindred forms.

Just a few things before we begin. Basics that everyone knows. The gates are causing things to wack out, so the main comm grabs all the communication based on each world, be it cell phone or whatever. And it goes across the various Realms, so those in Terreille can communicate easily with those in Kaeleer.

1. This is a panfandom game. This means that you can bring in anyone from any fandom into this game to have fun. I do not expect people to keep the character canon (ie normally heterosexual characters do not have to be strictly heterosexual if they do not want to), so please do not bitch/trash a player for their portrayal of a character.
2. There is a 4 character limit on the SAME character, unless it is the same player. A single player can have a maximum of 2 of the SAME character. This doesn’t not mean there is a player/character limit set. Once this limit is set, a player must wait for one of the versions to be dropped before they can be apped. An example of what I mean is:
a. Four people can conceivable play 4 versions of Peter Petrelli from Heroes. One person can play 2 versions of Peter Petrelli.
b. The one "exception" is the Doctor. Since there are ten soon to be eleven versions of the Doctor, there are allowed to be a limit of FOUR PER VERSION. Yes, this means at maximum we could have 40-44 Doctors in this game. If there are that many people in here to do that, I'd be happy.
3. Original Characters are welcome in this game. The only thing that I ask is for some background history when apping them. I don’t need a full length life story, but a paragraph explaining who they are and their history, as well as their age, is extremely helpful. Especially if they are created within your own mind and from a world you’ve created.
4. You can hold a character or PB for up to 72 hours. Please email with the hold or respond to this post.
5. Logs are posted in the logs community, general chatter and “propositions” are done in the main comm. OOC information is posted in the OOC community.
6. No flaming, no arguments, no DRAMA. If you have drama with another player, keep it out of my game. If you bring it in game, you will be banned for 2 days. Do it again, a week. If you keep bringing up drama with another player after these two warnings, I will kick you out so fast your head will spin. I realize drama happens, but I don’t want it in this game. If it happens BECAUSE of the game, then you come to me to resolve it but keep it OUT of the game. Period. I’m sick of dealing with drama in other groups, I won’t tolerate it here.
7. All the comms are moderated for new memberships, so you have to wait till I can approve you for the comm.
8. It is not mandatory to lock posts but please make sure to label them NC-17.
9. If you app a character that is Kindred, you must choose a human PB for them. Those who are Black Jewels characters still see the true Kindred look, but those who are not Black Jewels characters see the human PB. Example: I have Kaelas in another game PBed by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. If I were to bring him into this game, all Black Jewels characters would see him as an Arcerian cat, however someone like Bruce Wayne would see The Rock.
10. If you have a God/Goddess/someone with major powers, you have the ability to control any NPCs that you want and even some of the played characters, however, talk to the players when it comes to this so everyone is cool with it. The Blood are difficult to control unless they are a lower Jewel, so just talk to the players. The only character in this game that is "all powerful" is Jaenelle Angelline because of her status as Witch, but always check with the player(s) because they may be up to some plottage that could lead to Jaenelle being overpowered.

There are some changes that are coming to this game, including the merging with another and another mod coming on board. Or rather the mod that currently mods the other game will become a co-mod here. I'll bring everyone more up to speed this week and let everyone know what is happening there with it.

Once the transition is made, there will be a game wide plot that'll be done. Fun times!

Well we've fallen a bit silent over the past few weeks. I know a lot of that is my fault, sorry 'bout that.

I think we need a group plot or something. I'm going to screen this entry and people can send me their ideas. Send me as many as you want cause I'll just keep them filed away and we'll get to them eventually to get things up and moving again.

So no matter how crazy the idea, send them my way!

I do not know when I am going to start this plot, but it'll be within the next week or so, depending on how my last week and a half of school is plus starting my next class.

Here is what I sent in email to Amber and Alida:

"Jaenelle Angelline is going to be brought into the game as well, but I'm going to have her come into the game prior to Daemon and Rainier's arrivals, but something happened between her arrival in this pocket realm where JF exists and her actual arrival at the club. Some bad ass idiots (NPCs) that got a bit too rowdy and were tossed from JF have decided to toy with her. This is going to lead her and them back into JF. Now... Amber I don't know how much you know of the Black Jewels series, but that is where Daemon, Jaenelle and Rainier are from. Essentially... Jaenelle is Daemon's life. Anything and everything he does in his life is for her. This means he would tear entire universes apart to find her if he had to. He very nearly destroyed himself in the books when he thought he had lost her. In fact, his mind literally snapped and he walked in the Twisted Kingdom, which is the insanity realm, for years because he thought he was responsible for the rape and death of Jaenelle. What occurred was such a traumatic experience he didn't entirely remember and was susceptible to lies being told to his brother who lashed out at him.

Anyways! In a nutshell, when these NPCs come in with Jaenelle, Daemon is going to fall into the deepest, darkest recesses of his power and will use his very considerable jeweled strength to handle them. Things are going to get messy, because there is literally only one person who can contain Daemon and that is Jaenelle. And that's because she is MUCH more powerful then he is. A lot of people are going to most likely get hurt, and I will leave it up to players if their characters get hurt. Obviously you want Veronica to die. Basically what I am thinking is in his blind rage, he just starts releasing jeweled power. He is focused on the immediate vicinity in which Jaenelle is being held. So the bad NPCs are going to be splattered. Literally. What I was thinking is that Veronica is in that same area and is about to get blasted. Jaenelle will notice and throw up a shield very fast, but all that is going to do with the state of rage he is in, is keep her from being splattered into carrion. It's still going to be a killing blow that'll be pretty traumatic but she'll be in one piece enough that when she comes back as an Immortal, like Jade, she can actually function as a human being still."

Now what this means for everyone else. NPCs will be dying, but no PCs except Veronica. Well unless you really want to kill a character and somehow bring them back. However, you are fully welcome to have them get injured, cause what's some hurt/comfort between "couples" in game. If your character IS going to get hurt, please drop a line in this post. Or other general plottage ideas for this to help it go smoother.

Okay just figured I would post about this. This is a list of benefits that all employees get through Jade's establishment:

• A very generous salary- this does not include any tips they get or cuts the escorts get. This also helps if someone takes an escort's fancy, but they do not want to charge them for the pleasure.
  
• Sex with co-workers is allowed
• A nice apartment in the residential part of the things that Jade owns. Rent is not charged.
• For those that come in new, they get a whole new wardrobe to get started. This is especially true for dancers and escorts.

Some rules that Jade has in place:

• No jealousy to interfere with things. She understands it can come up, but if it starts affecting work, it will be handled.
• If a problem arises with a client, immediately tell her and/or a security person. It will be taken care of.
• She has an open door policy. Your problems become her problems. No matter what it is.

Every dancer and escort must audition before they are hired. Though usually they are because Jade has a good eye initially and figures they can learn or be moved to another position in the club. When it comes to escort auditioning, depending on the escort's preference, they have to sleep with another of the escorts and/or Jade. Jade is always present, however, because she wants to see an escorts style and their limitations. Dancers dance for her and sometimes one of the regulars who will give her their honest opinion.

I have kicked off the game with a welcome message from Jade, who is the owner of Jeweled Fantasies. I do play her, obviously. She is an OC, also pretty obvious.

I also wanted to let everyone know, and I'll put this in the comm info too, that the set up is like its own community of sorts. The club is in the center of a hub. It's rather large, allowing for multiple rooms for all the sexual fun, but also to include alcoves, an employee's lounge (which is not off limits to the fun amongst employees and/or their significant others), a kitchen (which is kinda off limits to the fun cause... ouch!) and Jade's office. For those in need of a room to live in or an extended stay, there are apartments around the club which is why I say this is like a community of sorts. Essentially Jade has created this little establishment as being a sexual community. She has tons of money, plus some very lucrative investors (can we say at least one of them is a 400 year old rich vampire?), so this place is HUGE. You won't run out of space, that's for sure.

People who need permanent residence or extended stay residence need to contact Jade as well. I may or may not create a character that will be an admin type person if the one I am already playing chooses to remain an escort/dancer. We'll see. For now, just have fun with everything.

I am going to look into making a wiki when I get home, we'll see how far I get with homework. It may take some time to get it up and running, but that's cool. We have this for now. So go out, have fun and lots of kinky stuff.

Please respond here if you want to hold a character or a PB. They will be held for 72 hours. Numbers in parentheses indicate how many of that character are on hold. You MUST have approval of the other players to put that character on hold if they are already in play.
