It felt like every inch of him was on fire. He had never felt anything like it. How had he gone this long without kissing her? If Alec had known this is the sort of feeling that would come along with it, he would have been kissing her way before turning up on some weirdo island. No wonder Logan wouldn't just let it go. Alec thought maybe it was just some weird fetish the older man had; maybe he was just into the whole transgenic thing. He could never figure out why Logan was so adamant about Max - why he just wouldn't go away after Max made it clear she didn't want to be with him. But this... Alec wasn't so sure he would just let her go either. He certainly didn't have any intentions for it now.
When Max pulled back, Alec was left speechless - a rare thing - as he took in the sight of her, breathless and so full of longing. She spoke and he shook his head, unable to find his voice before her lips were on his again. Alec had absolutely no plans for stopping any time soon. He couldn't get enough of her, couldn't get close enough to her. Before today, Alec never thought he would ever have those sorts of feelings toward Max - she infuriated him beyond reason sometimes and other times she could make him feel like he was nothing at all. To be so suddenly and overwhelmingly enamored by her... it was a feeling so strong he almost couldn't bear it.
He groaned as her hands slipped underneath his shirt, her fingertips moving over his bare skin. Alec pushed his hands through her long dark hair before moving one to ghost over the barcode on the back of her neck. He needed to be closer to her. He needed more of her. Her lips and her hands against his skin weren't enough. "We might wanna take this someplace else," he finally found his voice, the words delivered in a rasping tone. "Or there's gonna be a show no one around here will forget." His hands went to her face and he kissed her deeply once again and found himself praying that whatever had hit the both of them didn't wear off before he could get Max all to himself.
