MANDIE + MARCUS
It may have been a little morbid, the two of them sitting up in a tree and eating and drinking while their fellow seatmates were screaming down below as monstrous jaws ripped them apart. Should she be worried that it didn't bother her appetite at all? She'd seen her mother in pretty bad and fucked up situations before but this was different. People were being eaten alive.
Yet, she ate and drank. Better to keep up her own energy and now her new friend. Though, time would tell how long they both survived.
"It might be Plan B, staying up in this tree if they don't move on," she pointed out, already looking through the branches for somewhere sturdy to tie herself to. By they, she meant the Spinosaurs. The other dinosaurs seemed more concerned with their own safety to be bothered to attack them.
When he mentioned the plane, Mandie balked at the idea. "I don't know. What if the Spinosaurs come back?" But he did have a point. What if there was something they could use there? More guns? Food? Maybe even something to help build a shelter? She had her own things but there could be people who hadn't grabbed theirs before taking off.
"Would that be considered grave-robbing? Do you think we should bury the bodies before we start taking anything?" It should be noted that her mind was quickly turning toward the idea of looting the plane. She just wanted to make sure it was safe, at least, to do so.
