MANDIE + MARCUS
They definitely weren't going anywhere soon. Mandie swung her legs over the branch, as if she were bored already and began to swing them idly. It was somehow easy for her to dismiss danger so quickly. They were high enough and it didn't look like the Spinosaurs were going to come their way. Though that could end up changing so she was going to keep both eyes on them.
She smirked when he brought up that he had copped a feel. It was a harmless and flirtatious remark and if she were smoother in such things, she would have responded in kind. She'd had plenty of dates and late night outs and hurried quickies in the back of cars but that didn't mean she knew how to play the charmer. She just called it like she saw it. "As long as it ends up with me higher up in this tree, you can cop whatever you like." It wasn't meant to be an invitation but if it ended up being a life or death situation, she was completely fine with him grabbing her ass. Besides, it hadn't felt like he had actually gotten a handful. But then, she'd been distracted earlier.
Marcus seemed concerned with the other passengers and though Mandie didn't wish this sort of death on anyone, wasting ammo didn't seem like a good idea. "You might want to save those guns of yours," she commented from her higher perch. "There might come a moment where you wish you had that extra bullet." It sounded cold, she knew that and she felt horrible for saying it. Thinking quickly of how to soften his mood, she started to unzip her suitcase carefully and reached inside. "Would you like a granola bar?"
