Hey, I’m Alex and I’m bringing in Ron Weasley because the potterverse just doesn’t have enough redheads. Plus you know, he’s like best friends with Harry Potter and that makes him cool.
You guys know all about him but if we want to pretend you don’t well Ron Weasley is a flawed individual like most people. Sometimes his bad qualities can supersede his good ones, making him seem a bit of a git but at his core-- he’s a good person with an unwavering loyalty to his friends and a rigid sense of right and wrong. Growing up with so many older brothers took a heavy toll on his confidence and self esteem, giving him more than a minor inferiority complex which leaves him conflicted. He wants acknowledgment and he wants people to think highly of him but at the same time, he doesn’t think he deserves it. It’s one of the contributors to his famous temper. Ron has so much passion and fervor in him but no control so when things build up, he just can’t handle it and so he blows up at either the situation, another person (Hermione being a usual target with Ginny as a close second), or at himself. He has a problem expressing himself on certain topics.
Ron is married to Hermione, yeah? And he’s an Auror so doing pretty well for himself and everything.
