hi, everyone! i’m bex. i’m 27, which is like 80 in rp years. i work full time for a financial institution in their retirement accounts area. as a result, i’m not on aim (nerdsgoflying) as much as i would like, but i’m always available via e-mail (renaissanceniffin@gmail.com).

my lone character is marcus flint. i play him as a former school bully who still has a quick temper and excessive levels of pride. he works for the department of magical games and sports, so your characters are likely to run into him any time they do anything quidditch related. full bio is here! i am definitely looking for a roommate for him, so if you know anyone who likes to play older male slytherins, please shoot them my way!

I feel old with the wedding and the mortgage. But I still can't rent a car on my honeymoon. Bleh.

I'm 27, too. Sometimes feels a lot older, especially when a screaming baby pulls me away from the computer. ;) (Okay, that's a lie, she doesn't ever scream. Just fuss.)

I'm Missy, and I'm playing Hermione. :) Always up for chatting/plotting/playing. :)

and then there were three :') hi missy! your hermione bio was my morning reading today. marcus would quite clearly know who hermione is, and he suspects that after having been involved in that ugly early mudblood incident that he wouldn't be her favorite person ever. though they are much older and he wasn't the one to say it. they're both ministry, and if he saw her in the hall (and wasn't completely focused on something else), he would be civil. probably even polite. polite isn't his strong suit, but he'd be trying.

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one. I always feel like I'm the oldest. O_O

Anywhoo, yes, Hermione would be civil, too. I think there's a part of her that's trying to put everything to do with the war and blood elitism behind her. So I can see her being even more civil, if that makes any sense. ;)

Besides, I can't help but wanna play with Henry Cavil. ;)

omg, seriously. but that's okay. you're among friends, here.

he was never very into the blood elitism aspect of things--not that he protested much when she got called a mudblood, but to him it was more the nastiest thing that could be said to her rather than something he really meant. he's kind of an idiot like that. he's much better now that he's a little more grown up. and lmao! henry does have his charms, doesn't he.

Yay old friends! XD

Hermione doesn't like the word, for obvious reasons, but she also considers it to be a copout. It seems to her like it's a really ignorant/stupid thing to say--like whoever says it can't come up with an intelligent insult.

He very, very much does. ^^ I used him for Krum once.

starts an old club!

well, she's right! it is a copout and an unintelligent retort. but then again, marcus isn't very likely to come up with an intelligent retort. he kind of just blurts what he's thinking most of the time when he's upset.

he makes an excellent quidditchy type. he's athletic enough without being so bulky that he looks like a broom couldn't hold him.

Seriously. XD

I think a lot of people get that way when they're upset.

Indeed. He's a hearthrob, too. ;)
