Summary: James and Sirius fill Remus in.
Status: Limited, ongoing

He was pretty sure that Leah had mentioned something about the government providing housing for the displaced individuals, but he hadn't really looked into it yet. He'd been intending to, but he'd been more curious in exploring the area, searching out wizards and the like, killing some hell-demons when he came across them. He'd met a few faces, and none seemed terribly excited about their current circumstances. Not that he could really blame them.

He'd finally figured out the strange muggle device and posted to the journals, and really wished he'd done it sooner. James and Sirius were both here, apparently, though further news he'd heard on the subject kind of made him wish that they were still giving him the silent treatment and assuming he was the spy.

James and Lily had... died? Someone had turned them into Voldemort? How? He was pretty sure that when everyone said hiding, Fidelus was implied, and that meant that Sirius had been involved and... but if Sirius was the spy, why was James living with him and trusting him? So that couldn't be what had happened...

It was making his brain hurt, and it didn't help that James wasn't specific as to which of the government houses they were living in, though he quickly clarified that one, moving toward the door and knocking briefly, though he didn't wait for anyone to answer if it was unlocked, pushing it open without thinking about who else might live there and what he might be interrupting.

"Prongs?" he called out as he stepped inside, stomping his feet off on the mat, considering taking off his boots. "Pads?" He hoped he'd gotten the right house.

James laughed softly. "He's got to be at least eighty, mate," James said cheerfully to Remus. "All wrinkly and grey haired. He must polyjuice himself to look like me when they shag," he continued arrogantly. James' expression shifted a little before he shrugged. "She seemed happy. Smiling and glowing like she used to before ... before the end of our marriage. So why put her through all that again, yeah? We don't know how long we're stuck here; she may as well be happy while she's here."

Gesturing, James started to lead Remus toward the front room. "We've got interesting housemates, mate," he began. "Bet you'll meet them. Where're you staying?" he continued as he flopped down onto the couch, one arm draped over the back of it for Sirius to join him. Habit more than anything really, and when he caught on, he dropped his hand to rest on his thigh instead.

"Oh, and get this. I've got a granddaughter here," he said before he dropped his eyes. "Had. She's missing, too. Lot of people suddenly went missing just before the weekend. No one's got any idea where they are yet."
