Introduction
My introduction is a little more complicated than I generally like to get. Probably way more complicated than you'd ever want to hear. That said, I'm the son of a super soldier and witch, grandson of some of the most powerful sons of bitches this world has ever known, grandson to a kickass demon fighter, brother to a telepathic semi-witch, nephew to a couple of vampires with souls and slayer and girl who lived in a fairytale hell a lot of her life, and cousin to a few miracle and prophecy children. Not to mention the random other slayers and vampires that are extensions of that family. Add all of those genes together and you get me.
I told you it was complicated. But it's all normal for me.
Anyway, my name's Jack Lehane and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I live with my dad and sister, Cady, in a place in the city. It's at least a little way to get away from the chaos that is the Hyperion hotel which is where the majority of the rest of my family lives or has lived at some point in time. I don't really see the appeal of it all, personally.
My mom died when I was ten years old and my sister was five. This crazy bitch who was somehow destined to take over the world wanted to get rid of everyone who shared my mom and aunts' bloodline. They didn't get us all, though, which was their plan. Instead they just got my mom and Aunt Faith. It hasn't been easy, but we make due. Having a huge family sort of helps to make up for it even though it never will completely. Angel and Harry do what they can to be another set of parents to the both of us.
Like I said, my family is complicated and pretty much everyone comes with their own set of powers or abilities. I'm not left out in that Of course, might not be as flashy as some of my other family memebrs, but I do have some tricks up my sleeves that I'm sure you'd be impressed to see. I'm a lot like my Dad just not quite as fine-tuned I guess. I'm faster than you are in the best shape of your life, I'm a quick learner and can remember two dozen numbers or a paragraph word-for-word just at a couple seconds glance and I pack a pretty good punch too. Oh, and I'm quite the handsome devil if I do say so myself.
We're complicated but were definitely way more interesting than you. Promise.
