Introduction to Fandom Muses

Ever since she was a little girl people have told Regan Hope Lehane-Osborn that she was special. She was the miracle child of a vampire and a slayer. Not to be confused with her brother, the miracle child of two vampires, or her sister the prophecy child, or her other brother the vision boy. She had a mom, a dad, and a stepmonster named Harry. He was the father of her brother and sister, Tyler and Lexi. They ended up being vampires just like him. No souls though. Which meant she grew up barely remembering who Tyler was before Lexi stole him away, and not knowing Lexi at all.

Then her mom died. One of the best slayers ever, and she died. Something bigger and badder than her mom was was able to take her and Aunt Gracie out. They left behind children, husbands, lovers, family and friends. The world never truly recovered from the loss. At least not the world that Regan knew.

Regan was born on the same day as her cousin, Cady. They shared the ability to speak to each other without actually speaking. The telepathic communication freaked some of their family and friends out, but it felt completely natural to Regan. The truth was, she only felt complete when Cady was with her. Sometimes she wondered if their bond was the same as the Lehane sisters and Osborn twins had been. They couldn't be whole without the other.

She was special because she could communicate with animals. She was special because she could move the way her father does. She could fight the way her mom did. She was special because she was the last of Faith's children who survived with a pulse.

The world just never recovered after Faith and Grace died. Regan and Cady had a plan to make it all better. They were special after all. They could make it happen.
