Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Hello there! Esther here, and I bring to your lovely game Katie Bell.

As many of you probably know already, she was a Gryffindor student who graduated a year before the trio. She's had her fair share of close scrapes in school, anything from being pulled off her broom by her head during a Quidditch match (thanks for that, Montague) to touching a cursed opal necklace. Ron also threw a Quaffle pretty hard at her head during Quidditch practice, and shortly after she was fed the wrong end of a nosebleed nougat by Fred. It really is a wonder she managed to make it out of school at all, accident prone as she was! It's also significant enough to note anyone from Dumbledore's Army would probably remember her.

For an added bit of history your characters might know about her...
• She had a pretty explosive end to her relationship with Slytherin's Terence Higgs back in her school days. Her mates were a bit more skeptical of the relationship from the start, and it really threw off her performance on the Quidditch pitch for a while. For the full history of that, please feel free to check out Katie's profile.
• Katie is the type of person who will try just about anything once to say she's done it. She also can't easily, if at all, back down from a dare. Gryffinodrs, right? ;D
• She currently works at St. Mungo's as a Healer and likes to joke around she has the makings of a mini-cat farm, leaving her destined to become a crazy cat lady when she's older.
• Unfortunately the girl never tried for a spot on a professional Quidditch team following graduation from Hogwarts, and that is the one decision she still struggles with to this day. Her closer mates probably know of that. Although Katie loves healing, there are days it gets to be intolerable and she's left wishing she had another life.

That's about it! Sorry for the novel. I put it under the cut to save your friends page. If anyone wants to talk plot, history, whatever, you can find me on AIM at alis aquilae 2012. Cheers!

Hey there! I'm Laurie and I bring you Astoria Greengrass! =D

(going to C&P this I'm sorry. Busy busy today)
She's very... snobbish. And believes mudbloods should have no place in the wizarding world. However, she is doesn't believe theyn eed to be killed for it, just returned back to their natural habitat and obliviated so they don't remember the world she loves so dearly. (yes, she sees them as animals.) Those few she can get to know, see another side to her. She can be quite friendly and has a heart. She even baked Seamus cookies after she pissed him off with Mudblood comments as a way to apologize.

Since Katie works at St. Mungos there could be a chance for them to run into each other. Astoria's in her second year of Healer training. I've actually compared this to medical and I believe she has two more years left to go before she's official, but she's been getting something like 30 hrs a week in at Mungos besides class work and all. (Haven't figured out how that works during the summer though, heh)

How're you? Thanks for the tag, Laurie, and Stori looks great.

Katie's a pureblood, but she definitely doesn't think much of it one way or another. I imagine she wouldn't even bring it up in conversation, but there's likelihood people who care about such things might know? Definitely they should know each other from work, at least in passing. I haven't quite decided which floor to put her on, but yeah! And definitely good on you for sticking with how long it takes to get a history in medical/nursing. It can take anywhere from 2-4 years depending on your track. Maybe there could be a time in the future, or has been a time in the past, when Katie worked with Stori training-wise? Totally your call!

Thanks, lovey!
