"What if, instead of a boring night of putting your wife to sleep with your unremarkable family crest and endless family tree, I gave you a more palatable task?" Felix suggested.
Then he went on to detail his intention to get Ella a pony, and the reasons behind them: his rising suspicion that she'd been gentry at one point and the suggestion that she'd once had a pony from her father. Adding at the end, "Though I'm starting to wonder if perhaps a mild-tempered mare might be better."
A grin was sent Henry's way. "Want to help me find one?"
