Climbing onto a stool, Noah thought for a minute about the question he was being asked. What had it been like? It was tough for him to explain, really, but he tried his best.
"It was like... I just knew what to do to make it work. I looked at the pieces and I just knew where the wires had to go and how to make sure they worked when it turned on." He gave a small shrug of his shoulders as he smiled up at Gabriel. The expression, however, was a bit distant as Noah thought back.
Blinking, he abruptly re-focused on his dad. "I was going to wait for you, but the sun wasn't up and so I opened the box just to look at the pieces. When I saw them, I knew how to put them all together the right way. So I did it."
