"Breakfast!" Noah crowed in pleasure, grinning broadly. "Batteries first, though, right?" He really wanted to make sure he'd done it right. He thought he had, but he wanted to see the robot turn on and do what it was supposed to do.
Moving past his father, into the hallway, Noah slid his socked feet along the floor as he walked. He half-twisted as he moved, in order to glance back at Gabriel. "Can we get a car one? Maybe even two? Then we can both build them and then race!" He smiled at the thought before turning back to watch where he was going as he continued his trek through the living room, into the kitchen.
