Greetings and salutations!

Epi here, with Severus Snape, he of greasy hair and overlarge nose.

He's living at Spinner's End (though he hopes that to be a temporary arrangement), he's trying to get a teaching job at Hogwarts (to no avail), and he's freshly branded with a Dark Mark. He likes no one, really, other than Lily - but he pays his respects to those the Dark Lord favors, as every good Death Eater should. I wouldn't trust him very much if I were you.

Looking forward to plotifying with everyone and anyone! Sev is sure to have an opinion about you, whether he likes your or not.

More on him here, for those curious. Best means of contact for me is e-mail (shadowsick@gmail.com). Thrilled to be here!!

Hello! I'm Chi and this joyful arrogant bit of fluff is Sirius. Sirius is one of those blokes who wants to be in the Order, chomping at the bit to be a hero, mostly because he's never lost anything so the hero business still has a lot of shine.

I've got to post this out quick because I'm hopping a plane to London in a couple hours (how's that for research, eh, eh?) but Sirius is most happy to find his old friends and enemies pretending to be adults in the real world everybody keeps talking about.

How about some former girlfriends? Prank victims? Friendly friends?

Also question: Does everybody (Ministry, Death Eaters, etc.) know about the Order's existence yet? I know in the beginning it was a secret and by Harry's time it was common knowledge, but at what point is it now?

SO HAPPY TO BE HERE YAY

The game opens in less than six days-- woo!

I finally added a banner image to the [info]interns community. I'm not entirely happy with it, but it's much better than nothing!

As you've probably noticed, I've added pages on our statistics, wanted characters, and blood purity. Definitely let me know if you see any glaring typos.

Hi everyone!

I added another rule:
6) Finish threads you start. You don't need to drag it out forever-- a summary will do just fine.
I also added some information on posting guidelines. The activity requirements are pretty lax-- some sort of life every two weeks. I may reduce it to one week.

Added some more floorplans of the flats; on the hunt for a good exterior shot.

The description of future aurors/hitwizards is in progress. I work all day tomorrow, but it'll hopefully be finished by Monday!

As always, let me know if you have any comments/critiques/opinions/ideas.

Oh, and it looks like everyone's been pretty good about this, but be sure to run the friends generator often. :)

THIS PIECE OF BLONDE AMBITION IS VERONICA SMETHLEY. she is class of 1978, former slytherin and utter mean girl. she's not really a purist, but she does judge you and yes, usually she thinks she's better than you. she usually finds other girls threatening; she'll be nice to your face, but don't forget that she's probably grinding an axe for you. and boys, careful--she's a jealous type. she's a st. mungo's intern. she actually likes the idea of helping patients despite how selfish she is.

anyway, plots, friends, enemies, frenemies, plz inquire within!

Hey hey! My name is Meg (apostropheuser // [info]megtoo) and this is Alex(anor) Avery.

He'll be working at the Ministry, much to his disdain. Daddy dearest, however, is the head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation (as well as one of the earliest Death Eaters) and Alex had better live up to his privilege and ability.

He's going to complain a lot. He's a big follower and joins the crowd whenever possible. He was a Slytherin class of '78. More here.

I'm glad to be joining the game!

Hi everyone!

I'm Sarah, and I'll be modding this lovely game. However, as I hope I've made you all incredibly aware, I'm very interested in your input. Let me know if you see a typo, have an idea, or hate the banner!

Just to get you talking, here are a few topics that I'm especially interested in negotiating...

When should we open? Is 15 July too late? My original plan was to operate in real time-- 15 July 2010 being equivalent to 15 July 1978. That would give our characters some time before 1 August to get used to their new lives. 15 July is rather far away, though.
What do you think about the internship descriptions? You can see these here. I haven't written the description for future aurors/hitwizards yet.
Speaking of which, should future aurors/hitwizards begin with the same training? I was thinking that this one-year internship could serve as the "stringent series of character and aptitude tests" required of future aurors. At the end of the year, only a few of the interns would be invited to begin training as aurors.
Any ideas for the layout of the [info]interns community? I've been image-hunting without much success. Ideally, it should have something to do with either the Leaky Cauldron or the Daily Prophet office, since the other journals correspond to the other internship locations. I'm flexible, though.
What's the deal with journals? The latest fad?

Anyway, I'll be playing both Daisy Hookum and Augustus Rookwood.

Daisy is a '78 graduate and former Ravenclaw. She's very particular, slightly snobbish, and not at all complacent. Daisy will transform a misspoken sentence into a Freudian slip into an argument into a philosophical debate. And then wonder why you don't want to lunch with her. She's very friendly, and does know when to let her hair down, but can be just a bit tiresome if your stamina isn't up to par. Oh, and she's the future author of My Life as a Muggle. She used to live on the outskirts of Hogsmeade, and doesn't have much experience with the non-magical world. London will be an experience for her.

Augustus is a '77 graduate, former Gryffindor, future spy, and current Ministry of Magic employee. Professor Slughorn took an immediate shine to him in his first year-- Augustus' great grandfather was a celebrated Keeper for the Wimbourne Wasps, and his mother was revered for her household charms in a story that syndicated in 15 magazines. However, that favor quickly turned sour in Augustus' fifth year, when he was caught rifling through Slughorn's drawers for information pertaining to his students' test scores. Augustus was comparing students' grades with their blood purity to see if there was any truth to Pureblood elitism. Slughorn didn't turn him in, but Augustus never received another invitation to the Slug Club's meetings, causing a few rumors. Despite this mishap, Augustus salvaged his reputation, and is generally known as both amiable and charming.

Now that I've ventured into tl;dr territory, welcome to the game! As always, let me know if you need anything clarified-- or if you want to clarify something for me!
