Hello hello! My name is Madeline and I'm another one of the newbies, as I see, though I recognize a lot of you from past games and such. Small world! Anyways, yes! I bring you Charity Burbage!
Charity's a '76 Hufflepuff graduate and former intern for the Ministry of Magic, where she now works still training as an Obliviator - she's just glad to get as close to muggles as she can. She's a fullblooded witch who inherited her muggle culture obsession from her father who works in the Wizengamot Administration Services. Her mother's from a disinherited branch of the pureblood Gibbon family, so she's never been held to the same standards as other privileged wizarding circles, and. . .well, it shows. She's very outgoing and ambitious, though in her own Hufflepuff way, and tries to make everyone happy and values fairness. She's a loyal friend - well of course she is, she's a Hufflepuff, and has the makings to be a natural leader, though of course she's young and has a while to go. However, when she is unhappy, she is the most passive-aggressive girl you've ever met. She's a bit naive and easily maniupulated in her idealism and attempts to make everyone happy, but she always means well.
You probably know her as the girl with the choppy dark hair who clip-clops around the Ministry in heels and wears her clothes just a little too tight sometimes. Charity is cute, but she's the kind of girl who knows how cute she can be, and uses it to her advantage. She talks in a way where flirtation almost comes naturally to her, as if she can't help it, and can come across as forward quite often. She likes being the center of attention, really, and she's very fun-loving and outgoing by nature. Sometimes she needs to be told to be more serious about things, about her work, which lasts at least until she finds something else more interesting to focus on. But when she does buckle down, she's very dedicated and gets stuff done. Any other information is HERE.
Charity's looking for anything and everything! Friends from all walks of life, people she thinks are her friends but can't stand her, people she sees at work, old roommates during her time in the intern flats that survived her "party girl" phase, ex-boyfriends, potential boyfriends, and other such connections! Any plot is good plot, and I'm all game! My contact info is in Charity's profile post, and I'm usually reachable by email - BlackBerry is addictive in that way :)
