welcome to miami
WHAT'S UP?

this is the first of three posts that will welcome your characters into the game! we're so excited to start writing with all of you. please feel free to use this post to do all manners and styles of roleplaying. if you wanna do threads? go for it. if you want to do dialogue-only posts? go for it! take this as seriously or as lazily as you want.

this particular ic/ooc can be used for all interactions that take place prior to boarding the ferry at 6 PM. we have provided some basic headers for various places, but you're more than welcome to make your own, or if you'd prefer the uniformity of the mod look, nudge us and we'll slap something up real quick. you're also welcome to reply to any number of headers more than once! just have fun with it, k.

we will be posting part two tomorrow (friday!), but if you haven't wrapped up everything you'd like to do by then you're welcome to continue keeping at it for as long as you'd like.

just as a lil reminder, tales are able to recognize tales based on sight alone! if you see them, you know who they are! ;*

WHAT
arriving to miami & gathering at the dock.
WHEN
saturday, march 12th, before 6 PM

Ax glances toward the ball after it THWACKS and bounces off his massive army hiking backpack, before turning to stare in the direction it came from.

He stares for a few seconds, shakes his head, makes an angry grumbling noise, and then goes back to reading The Real Mother Goose.

Marty shouts an obligatory “sorry” in his direction. She does not look or sound sorry.

Ax glances down to see if the indentation in the cloth disappeared. Like he suspected, it did not.

Walter, who was posted near Axel, caught the whole thing. “Bit of a show off, yeah?” He said to him in between bites of an apple.

Ax nods, gruffly. "Do yourself a favor, Wally." He gestures to the bag on the ground. "Aim higher than she just did."

Walter chucks his apple at his bag, and then gives him a genuine, "Sorry."

He hops off the fence to catch the rolling apple, but
a seagull grabs it. "You owe me another apple," he teases.

Ax blinks, visibly stunned, before shaking his head. "You missed," he quips.

"Get it from your errant soulmate. She owes me a pie tin."

He wasn't actually sure what she'd hit. He'd have to make sure his mugs were alright when he opened the bags later.
