welcome to miami

WHAT'S UP?

this is the first of three posts that will welcome your characters into the game! we're so excited to start writing with all of you. please feel free to use this post to do all manners and styles of roleplaying. if you wanna do threads? go for it. if you want to do dialogue-only posts? go for it! take this as seriously or as lazily as you want.

this particular ic/ooc can be used for all interactions that take place prior to boarding the ferry at 6 PM. we have provided some basic headers for various places, but you're more than welcome to make your own, or if you'd prefer the uniformity of the mod look, nudge us and we'll slap something up real quick. you're also welcome to reply to any number of headers more than once! just have fun with it, k.

we will be posting part two tomorrow (friday!), but if you haven't wrapped up everything you'd like to do by then you're welcome to continue keeping at it for as long as you'd like.

just as a lil reminder, tales are able to recognize tales based on sight alone! if you see them, you know who they are! ;*

Having learned nothing from her miserable impromptu Miami vacation, Agatha arrives a full hour early to the ferry station. She did not pack well for this trip and regret has finally begun to catch up to her. Her carry-on suitcase/hamper is crammed full of her dirty laundry, and she's had to resort to wearing a Miami Dolphins t-shirt she bought yesterday. And it is only now occurring to her that she may not have access to a washer/dryer on this island.

Oh well. Too late to bail now.

	Not going to lie, Kane would tease her for being such a keener when he got there. And bitch about the heat. 	Like she did with Guy of Gisbourne, Lavender would stare at Gerda like WHO??. But she's seen Frozen and honestly, bringing up Frozen as a frame of reference will probably work for anyone in that story so she hazards a guess and says, "How sick are you of Let it Go?" 	Agatha really considers Lavender for the first time. She's not sure what she should've expected a fairy to look like, but she's not exactly surprised. "I'm Agatha," she finally says, before clearing her throat. "Is this your first Goose Quest?" (Reply to this) (Parent)

Okay. This lie probably can not continue indefinitely.

"Agatha Nylund," she introduces herself, tucking her phone into her pocket to shake his hand. "I'm actually a Vikings fan," she admits after a moment, and then a second beat later adds: "And also I don't really know anything about football anyway."

She lapses into an uncomfortable silence, unsure how else to introduce herself. Is she supposed to pretend she doesn't know this guy is a literal fairy tale villain? Is it discriminatory to make assumptions about people based on their past lives? She has no idea.

	Someone else from New York City. At least they have something in common. "I'm from the Duluth area originally," she says. "But I've been in NYC for almost ten years now, actually." She is momentarily struck by anxiety as she remembers she will have to sublet her apartment if she wants to stay on this island long-term, but that's a problem for Future Agatha.
