In case you're all wondering, the ferry only leaves for the mainland once a day at 6am apparently. Only took me about 2.5 hours of waiting at the wrong time to figure that out. 😎

In Beauty and the Beast, everyone in the castle except for the Beast was turned into an inanimate outdoor statue, not an animate household object.

Objects did move on their own, but it was because of the magic of fairy spirits like these wisps, not because the objects themselves were alive.

Beauty was assisted around the castle by fairy spirits who had turned themselves into monkeys and used parrots to translate what they were saying so that Beauty could understand them. Monkeys filled the roles you'd associate with Lumiere, Cogsworth, Wardrobe Lady, and etc.
