THE WISHING WELL

Whatever lingering oppressive aura that has hung around the Well now feels like it's finally dissipated.

The thick metal plate and the spikes driven into the Well's stones still remain. The memorial to the young woman is gone, and creeping vines with magical glowing blooms have taken its place. They sprawl across the surface of the metal plate.

Once a day, starting from June 4th, characters can attempt to remove the plate or otherwise try to interact with the Well. Mod responses might be slow, depending on availability, so please be patient! We'll try to say something along the lines of "Nothing happens" if nothing happens.

Please put the date of your character's attempt in the subject header. This event will run until secret conditions are met in order to free the Well. The Well is freed!

Hey thanks everyone who came out to clean up the garden, and also I guess thanks to the ?magical island rain? for waiting until after we got rid of the weeds before making shit grow, would have been kind of fucking annoying

I found a guitar that is now the island's birthday present to me. I can't play but maybe I'll learn, or maybe I'll just leave it in a corner and reminisce about when I used to be a big shot. Also there was what I think was a makeshift cell phone for bloody mary, or just a borderline useless ouija thing that didn't even come with a board. Anything else interesting and/or valuable and/or casually disturbing emerge from the past for y'all?

In other news I'm now a mother to a tiny blind six-winged monstrosity and now understand how my parents were able to love me. I'm giving her my new brass knuckles and will teach her to be the fiercest of all the crimes against god hatched here.
