Who: Storm and Connolly.
Where: Old abandoned house.
When: 4/3, late.
What: Drinking, cussing, shenanigans.
Status/Rating: Incomplete/R to be safe (cussing, drinking, etc.)

Fuck it. That was exactly what she was thinking, feeling, expressing. Connolly even had to admit she might have gone too far on this one, but once her anger was sparked, there was no way of shutting the girl up. If she couldn't fight with her fists, she'd fight with her mouth which often landed her in more trouble than her own hands. She was tired of their rules and being talked down to from those who were once human. Like they were any better? Maybe they were, but it wasn't within Connolly just sit there and take all their shit, abide by their rules, and not say or do a fucking thing about it.

So fuck it.

If she was to be punished, she'd rather be out doing something she wanted to do than sit and wait for it. Meeting up with a boy she hadn't met before to drink and cause trouble. Why the hell not?

Throwing on her leather jacket over her wife beater, Connolly left the apartment quietly, as to not wake up Petro, Mika, or Keita. If anything was going to happen, she'd rather it be as far away from them as possible. She had, in hand, a six pack of beer with a flask of vodka in one pocket and a flask of Jack in the other. Connolly came prepared as drinking was something she took seriously as a Conner. Connolly quickened the pace of her walk to get to the abandoned house that Storm had mentioned.

For all she knew, Storm could have been a vampire, but that was the risk wasn't it? He didn't talk like one and he seemed close in age. She'd find out soon enough anyways.

The sound of burnt wood under Connolly's black boots echoed the empty rooms of the abandoned building. It was truly a disaster but Connolly didn't mind. It was perfect for drinking.

Setting down the beers, she brushed her hair behind her ears and took out the flask of Jack. Connolly was impatient and in desperate need of a drink.

Communicated anymore? Were telephones and internet connections monitored here as well? The more Storm found out about the town, the crazier the vampires sounded. Of all places in the United States, why would his pack come here? It made no sense. Maybe they were on some sort of secret operation to free the humans. There had already been some sort of failed revolution apparently, before some new vampires took over. If that was the plan, Storm figured that he would do his best to try and get Connolly and her brother out of Shadow Falls. Just...cause. No one liked being trapped.

"That's good." he murmured about her brother, and then lapsed into silence as he listened to her explain the relocation process before turning the question onto him. "Sacramento sounds beautiful. I've never been there. Or LA. Everybody seems to want to live in LA." It felt like he had never really been anywhere notable. "Red Cliff, Colorado. Tiny little town, surrounded by reservations. I'm part Cherokee, we like nature names, I guess. Storm Quintana is my real name." the boy grinned. "And being reformed isn't so bad. Better than being arrested all the time." Anything was better than that.

"What's the certain limit?"

Connolly scrunched up her nose and shook her head with a smile. "Nah. Sacramento is alright. Gets boring after a while. And LA..well..things are easier in LA. Easier to get your hands on the booze, the drugs, and whatever else you're after." Her only reason for moving down to LA was her brother, as that was the last place she knew he had been. It was there she met the wrong people, at the wrong time, and she had happened to be drunk.

She listened while smiling. "Red Cliff sounds a lot better than Sacramento. I heard Colorado was pretty. Your name is nice too. Its unique, different. Different is good." The alcohol was making her even more relaxed and the heat she could feel from Storm was making her quite warm. "True. I spent most of my time running from the cops than actually being arrested." The smile faded somewhat at his question. She should have known he was going to ask, because she knew she would have as well.

"Uhm...killing, unnecessary beating of someone...sex." Oh she had a big thing when it came to sex. "Alright..confession..I'm still a virgin. I just like to think that the person I give it up to really likes me. I won't say love because love is a fucking far stretch and I've seen my sisters get knocked up by guys they barely even know. I just want it to be right..." She had hoped it made sense.

"You have any limits? Or are you the all the way type of guy?"

"Makes sense." Well, no wonder everyone wanted to be in L.A! Storm had always seen it depicted on television as this wild party town, glitzy and oozing with commercialism and crime. The home of movie stars and musicians, of moral bankruptcy, hedonism, and dreams. He had figured that it was just glamorized though, painted up to provide appeal yet...apparently not. Rich and famous really was that sleazy.

If L.A really was that filled with opportunities, then why would Connolly leave? But the girl didn't seem too eager to discuss specifics so Storm got off the topic. "Yeahhh, you might want to avoid killing anyone." he snorted foolishly. "It's okay that you're a virgin though, that's not even a big deal." Seriously, no surprise there. The confession was secretly a little entertaining, stroking his boyish perverted curiosities. She was obviously drunk enough to share awkward confessions with him, so Storm figured that he would do the same.

"As long as you don't get claimed by some vampires who don't feel like waiting for what feels 'right', you should be okay. But I'm pretty much an all the way kinda guy." he smirked. "Not a virgin. Have beaten people up before unnecessarily. Or used to, before I decided to be well behaved." Even having gone so far as infecting another human being with his saliva. But he didn't get into that. "Gets hard...to control myself sometimes though..."

Drunk yeah, it helped spilling things out easily, but she felt more comfortable with strangers than she did with the people who knew her well. Her actins, the reasons why she did anything, she always found it hurting those she cared about, so she remained quiet. Alcohol, someone to relate to, and someone new, it was easier. Like now.

"Nah...my prospect is a she and she already has a lover apparently. Already made a deal that nothing sexual is to ever happen. I made sure of that." Connolly had learned with the people she 'worked' with, on how to make deals and such. She learned not to be pushed around and if you wanted to do something or want something, always do it on your own terms. It was a control thing. It came as no surprise that he wasn't a virgin. Really...what seventeen year old boy wasn't?

Instead of looking all serious and upset, Connolly laughed. "I know what you mean. I started looking for reasons to fight, any excuse just to say the fight was worth it." Connolly found herself relating, but not in the sense he probably meant. "I understand though. All that pent up aggression and frustration and no one to let it out on...right?"

If both of them had been sober, or at the very least, if Storm had been sober, he would've definitely been more interested in the convenient arrangement that she had acquired with a pair of vampire lovers. Yet never suspected that it was the owners of In Vein, which he was unaware of it's true purpose. Mariana had told him that it was a bar, a bar for vampires. And so, the boy had believed that but he didn't know anyone who worked there. At least Connolly seemed self assured about the situation, like she knew what she was doing. That was pretty admirable too.

"There's these things called gyms, ya know." he joked. "Where you can work out your physical aggression. It helps a lot, but it's not as nice as cracking someone's face open with a crow bar. I'll give you that." With a groan, the boy laid flat on his back once more and stretched his arms high over his head, letting his tee shirt ride up. "I'm sure you got everyone telling you to be careful and shit, and it gets as annoying as fuck so I won't be a broken record. But I will say that you're lucky to get an offer like that, and that you should probably be smart with it. Not piss anyone off, give them a reason to target you. Try and stay alive, yeah?" he groped for a cigarette, but found only the empty box.

Dammit. He tossed it to the floor. "You wasted?"

Connolly stuck out her tongue as he joked. "A gym isn't the same as a boxing gym, its not the same as a bag, and yeah...not the same as a crow bar to a face." She couldn't help but to look as his shirt rode up, seeing he was more than in shape. Limits, Connolly. Limits. "Careful there, Big Bear, starting to sound like you care." She was teasing but she appreciated what he was saying.

Grinning, Connolly arched her back to pull out her box of Marlboro reds and lighter. Placing a cigarette between her lips, she lit it up and handed it over to Storm. "I'm drunk but its slowly kinda wearing off I think. Are you wasted?" Connolly stayed on her side, watching him.

"Jussayin'." Storm joked back, yawning widely as his long legs dangled off the end of the mattress, thanks to his tall height. It hadn't begun to wore off for him yet but maybe that's what the intense drowsiness was. Rolling over his large frame with heavy waves of sleepiness, and weighing down his eyelids until it felt like a battle to keep them open anymore. "Kinda tired." he admitted honestly, watching as she lit the cigarette and passed it over to him with a grin.

Appreciatively, he took the cig to inhale a deep drag and then returned it to her as he lay back and blew a stream of smoke towards the ceiling. The room fell strangely quiet, a deep silence lapsing over the teenagers after the endless stream of chatter. It was kind of peaceful actually, so Storm shifted again to look into Connolly's face, it looked more fragile now than when he had first shown up, for some reason. Tiny, fine boned and very breakable. Hesitantly, he lifted a numb drunken hand to softly cup it....and then just stayed like that. Gazing at her intricate face in his hand. It would be easy to hurt her, kill her, kiss her. Anything he wanted.

But after a moment, his dark eyes flicked away and he rolled over, his hand leaving her face. "Let's sleep." he said simply, and let his eyes fall shut. Presently, low rasping snores emitted from the giant sleeping lump.

"I get it. You've finally got a hook up and me dying tomorrow would cut those supplies fast. I promise if I die, I'll give you what's left of my stash." It was morbid, but funny in Connolly's opinion. Connolly only smiled and nodded, admitting she was tired as well. There would be going back to the apartment, which would probably flip out Mika. But at least she wasn't out after curfew, right? Connolly was also safe, or at least she felt safe until Storm reached out to cup her face. She couldn't understand his meaning. Was he going to kiss her or hurt her? It was always something Connolly couldn't distinguish. Someone wanting to hurt her or be affectionate towards her.

Connolly held her breath for that moment, letting the cigarette burn in her hand. When he let go of her, Connolly felt confused. Was she supposed to give him a hint? A hint for what? The look of confusion lingered for a moment before she turned over to out out the cigarette I n the floor. "Yeah, sleep sounds good." Connolly rolled back over to her side to face him again, curling up into a small ball, not taking up much room on the bed, unlike Storm. "Night."
