Who: Storm and Connolly.
Where: Old abandoned house.
When: 4/3, late.
What: Drinking, cussing, shenanigans.
Status/Rating: Incomplete/R to be safe (cussing, drinking, etc.)

Fuck it. That was exactly what she was thinking, feeling, expressing. Connolly even had to admit she might have gone too far on this one, but once her anger was sparked, there was no way of shutting the girl up. If she couldn't fight with her fists, she'd fight with her mouth which often landed her in more trouble than her own hands. She was tired of their rules and being talked down to from those who were once human. Like they were any better? Maybe they were, but it wasn't within Connolly just sit there and take all their shit, abide by their rules, and not say or do a fucking thing about it.

So fuck it.

If she was to be punished, she'd rather be out doing something she wanted to do than sit and wait for it. Meeting up with a boy she hadn't met before to drink and cause trouble. Why the hell not?

Throwing on her leather jacket over her wife beater, Connolly left the apartment quietly, as to not wake up Petro, Mika, or Keita. If anything was going to happen, she'd rather it be as far away from them as possible. She had, in hand, a six pack of beer with a flask of vodka in one pocket and a flask of Jack in the other. Connolly came prepared as drinking was something she took seriously as a Conner. Connolly quickened the pace of her walk to get to the abandoned house that Storm had mentioned.

For all she knew, Storm could have been a vampire, but that was the risk wasn't it? He didn't talk like one and he seemed close in age. She'd find out soon enough anyways.

The sound of burnt wood under Connolly's black boots echoed the empty rooms of the abandoned building. It was truly a disaster but Connolly didn't mind. It was perfect for drinking.

Setting down the beers, she brushed her hair behind her ears and took out the flask of Jack. Connolly was impatient and in desperate need of a drink.

Honestly, it was a really stupid move on both of the teenager's parts. Storm had quite literally no idea who this girl was. She could've been another Fenris spy, one couldn't be too paranoid after what had just happened with recent traitors between the packs. But she had alcohol. Or claimed to anyway. And the potential opportunity to get wasted was far too tempting to think rationally. Fuck it. If she was a spy, he'd fight her, take the booze and bail. If she wasn't, he still was gonna get some booze out of this. If there was none to be had? Then he was going to bite her. Only not really.

A cigarette was pinched between full lips as he made his way across dried crackling leaves in his human form, hunched over with hands shoved deep in his pockets. Why did it feel colder? Oh, right. No fur. The cool spring air prickled across his skin and left goosebumps behind and Storm considered just phasing quickly to stay warmer. No. He couldn't show up naked. That'd freak her out, so he just walked faster until he reached the crumbling building that looked quite sinister from the outside, surrounded by shadowy trees. Storm took one last drag from the ashy stub, then flicked it away before heading inside. The back door didn't want to cooperate, of course, so it took a hard kick from the boy to send it crashing to the floor.

"Anyone home?" he called in, stepping over the shattered wood and pushing the hoodie from his dark hair. "Hellooo? Girl with booze?"

It was the crash that made Connolly jump. Had they come already? Immediately, the girl crouched low behind the half burnt door, shoving the bottle into her jacket with her left hand, her right hand picking up a would-be wooden stake. A burnt one at that. Connolly didn't recognize the voice and didn't respond to him asking if anyone was home. If the stranger was looking for a fight, she'd give it to him, as the restlessness had been growing. How long had it been since she'd actually hit someone? Too long.

When the voice asked for the girl with booze, Connolly rose slowly, not letting go of the pointed piece of wood. She stepped from the shadows, playing the defensive side, willing to give the stranger a chance. "Name's Connolly. Booze is only offered to those I see fit."

Connolly studied the boy's features and couldn't help but to notice that he was cute, but was he the one she was supposed to meet tonight? "Storm?" She frowned a bit, pulling out the flask of vodka with her free hand.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. What was with the stake? Was she planning on lancing him or some shit? Storm immediately held up his hands in a mock surrender, and couldn't help laughing a little goofishly at the unexpected situation. Well, damn! He thought he had come as a friend, and now he was staring at this short little spitfire brandishing the thing like she could do some legit damage with it. The alarm had immediately worn away to be replaced with amusement and he had to bite back another laugh.

"Ayo Connolly." he greeted, keeping his hands where she could see them and didn't make any sudden movements. Enough run ins in the law had taught him these small useful tips. "That'll be me. Storm Quintana and I believe you were in the mood to share some of that?" Brown eyes flicked to the flask, hopeful and eager but he stayed exactly where he was. All six feet and three inches, two hundred and eighteen pounds of him.

"I come in peace?"

Connolly immediately dropped the piece of wood when he said her name and admitted to his own. The laughter didn't help, but she couldn't help but to smile herself. "Shut the fuck up. I tend to piss off the wrong people when I speak my mind." Which was an understatement. It was a wonder she was still alive now. Even if she had wanted to do damage, she wasn't sure she'd be able to considering his size. He was massive and easily had a foot on her.

Difficult, but not impossible.

Connolly's smiled brightened, offering the flask of vodka in a form of some sort of acceptance and welcoming. "Connolly Conner. I won't kick your ass tonight." As if she could.

Once taken, Connolly reached for her flask of Jack and took a rather large drink from the silver container. She let it burn at the back of her throat while looking the boy over once more. "I take it you don't get to drink much? Or is it that you can't get your hands on it?"

"No harm, no foul. Thanks, tiger. I 'preciate it." Storm accepted the flash with a nod of thanks, grinning as he tipped it back for a few burning swallows. That definitely wasn't fruit punch in there, he coughed slightly and then handed it back, the stupid smirk pulling the corners of his mouth smugly while surveying her with unveiled interest. Cute. Small, but cute.

Hmm, she had held wood too. Vampires didn't like wood, right? And she hadn't heard him coming before the door was smashed through, no wolf senses. So, he silently chalked her up as a human with private relief. Not a crazy Freki. Not a vampire, not that he was afraid of vampires. But somehow he doubted that all of them were as nice as Mariana after hearing what they apparently did to people with chips and what not.

"I drink when I can." he answered candidly, fumbling in his pockets for the crumpled packet of Camel cigarettes before he located it in the back pocket of his jeans. Tapping one out, he stuck it between his lips and flicked his lighter a few times unsuccessfully before lighting the tip. "Just gets kinda hard when I'm broke as fuck." Storm took a deep relaxing drag and then extended it out to her as he exhaled. "How about you? The stash never gets low?"

Connolly nodded silently, knowing what it was like to be broke as fuck and to drink when she could. "Yeah, I get it. Been there, done that." He was a complete stranger, not a vampire, and despite his size, she could tell he was near her age. Connolly grinned, biting her lower lip as she accepted the extended cigarette. "It used to." She took a drag and inhaled deeply, slowly letting the plumes of smoke leave her mouth before handing back the cigarette. "I took to stealing to cover the means of cash and booze. Worked pretty well then."

Connolly crouched down and picked up a beer, tossing it in Storm's direction. "That was before I ended up here. Now..I have a job and my brother to buy it for me. As long as I replenish his Jack Daniels, he doesn't give a fuck." For the most part. Mika cared a lot more than Connolly was letting on, but it didn't matter then to tell Storm that.

It was bad enough Mika was trying to drive every male away from Connolly.

"So why haven't I seen you around till now? I know this place isn't that small, but still...you're pretty hard to miss."

Despite the fact that they didn't know one another at all, Storm was feeling more and more comfortable. Like they just were easily speaking the universal language of adolescence back and forth and it didn't need any awkward translating. Not to mention, it was kind of nice to just pretend to be human again, something that was lost amongst his other wolf peers. It was on the tip of his tongue to ask her how she was but for some reason, he hesitated and tried to just guess. Young, that's all he could affirm. Maybe...sixteen? Seventeen? Around there. Never once did he consider the fact that she could've been older than him. No way. Too short.

"I hear you." Storm took the cigarette back and inhaled once more, catching the beer with strangely quick reflexes before cracking it open. "Least you gotta a job, I'm hearing those are hard to come by. Your brother sounds pretty fucking fly though." The tall boy lowered his body down to the dusty floor with a plop and a grunt, folding long legs into an Indian style as his back leaned against a filthy wall and he could drink and smoke simultaneously, leisurely.

That is, until she started getting curious. Storm cleared his throat, fiddling with the cigarette between rough fingers. "I ahh...keep to myself, mostly. Keep below the radar, ya know. Don't want to attract fangs. And I'm not in school, so." he shifted broad shoulders in mock nonchalance. The truth was, he spent most of his time on four legs so even if she had seen him, Connolly wouldn't have recognized the large roguish looking beast. "How about you? Graduated or what?"

Short, but fiesty. Dynamite comes in small packages and Connolly was a fucking nuclear atom just waiting to be split. But not with Storm. She could talk openly with him and not be called an immature child, or a cunt as Herrick put it. That amused her though. To rile someone up enough to call her a cunt.

"My boss is a friend to my brother. He needed help and offered to pay, I accepted." Connolly couldn't help but to laugh. "Yeah..he's fly. He's cool enough to let me drink but can sometimes be a bit smothering...overprotective at times." And she couldn't blame the man. Connolly spoke was if she was wanting a deathwish. "He just hasn't figured out when he makes rules, all I want to do is break them."

Connolly took a few more measured sips from the flask. Her goal was to get fucked up, and she would. "Makes sense." Not attract fangs. Yeah...something Connolly couldn't do. "So you play smart and safe...doesn't that get a bit boring?" Connolly was mocking, wanting to see if the young man could play along.

"Graduated, yeah. No more school for me." Although the offer of having her college paid for was still on her mind...if Scarlett would still have her after her little spat on the paper. "I'm not big on academics." The girl wasn't stupid, she just didn't have the patience.

"How old are you anyways?"

"Sweet." People with connections. Storm couldn't help but be jealous of that. But the smothery older brother thing, yeah...he didn't miss that at all. "They do that sometimes. But he only says that shit because he cares, blah blah. You know." He could remember getting into trouble back home in Colorado and it always seemed like his big brothers were bailing him out and covering his tracks for him. On one hand, he would always be grateful. On the other hand, it just made him more sloppy and spoiled, expecting others to take care of him. But they only did it because they cared, and didn't want him to get thrown out of the house. Which he eventually was anyway.

"Nope, not boring." Some stray ashes from the tip of his cigarette were tapped onto the floor before he passed it to her generously a second time. "Not crazy on vampire attention anyway, even though everyone else seems to be. They don't interest me a whole lot. I met one who was bangin' but I don't think they're all like that so whatever. One's enough."

Graduated. Connolly was eighteen? Or older? Storm arched a dark brow, clearly impressed before nodding with a chuckle. "Can't say that I am either. I dropped out, but I'll be eighteen in October."

"Yeah I know." His caring didn't bother her. The rules did, as it was rules she was always looking to break. Her parents didn't learn and more often than not, she had only herself to protect. No one else was there to do it for her, so it was hard adjusting to let her brother do the protecting. Besides, he had his own family to protect and Connolly was a young woman...with a deathwish.

Connolly sat next to him and accepted the cigarette. "Neither am I, but I won't be talked to like I don't mean anything. I won't be denied rights and I won't be treated like a fucking cow." Her tone got a tad bit serious as the pent up anger was right there, sitting in her chest. "A chip, donating blood every week, and then doing everything a vamp tells you to do...nah. I'm not a slave and I refuse to act as such." Connolly blinked, realizing she had been rambling. Quickly, and to not be rude, she took another drag and handed it back to Storm. "And yeah...I know they're not all like that...I've met one who was different too."

"Dropped out? Tsk tsk." Connolly grinned and finished the Jack before grabbing a beer, the beginnings of tingling in her fingers. Connolly was starting to feel good. "I'll be nineteen in November." So she was older, by almost a year. Laughing softly, she looked over at him with her blue eyes and gave a wink. "Hopefully when I grow up, I'll be as big as you!"

It was becoming glaringly apparent that Storm wasn't the only teenager here with anger problems, and in a weird way, it was kind of nice. It was kind of nice to sit there, not feel particularly angry himself for once but be able to relate to her frustration. The sense of being trapped, helpless. Maybe even outcast a little. Betrayed as of late. He knew those feelings well, so he stayed quiet and simply listened to her without judgment or interruption until her little rant was finished and she snatched the cigarette back. Or maybe it was just the alcohol that was giving him a calmer heavy feeling that was actually pretty damn relaxing.

"Least you met the one that was okay." he offered, a clumsy gesture of comfort. Connolly had it worse than him, Storm realized now. She was stuck as a human, stuck within Shadow Falls boundaries and forced to be branded with some sort of weird chip. He was a monster but at least he could roam freely, and he couldn't be claimed. Couldn't be tracked. Privately, he was grateful for the freedom for a moment before finishing off the last contents of his beer and then idly tossing it. Glass shattered against wood and Storm casually reached for another.

"Yeah, dropped out." Not a fun topic so he switched. "We're closer in age than I thought but somehow I don't think you're gonna grow anymore. Sorry about that, Midget." Storm teased, slurping his beer and slumping against the wall casually. "So, you got that chip thing in your neck? Did it hurt?" Emboldened by his steadily deadening senses, the boy reached out gently to touch the side of her neck. "Here?"

A Conner anger problem is what her father had called it. It had escalated further only a few years back. Connolly stopped being angry and started looking for a reason to be angry. Being angry meant you could fight. Fighting was Connolly's physical means of truly feeling that anger....to not feel almost fragile in a fight. Only to turn around and feel triumphant from winning that fight, feeling fucking invincible..and doing it all over again.

However, in Shadow Falls, she was stuck somewhere between anger and not being allowed to throw those punches. It didn't suit the young girl at all. "Oh I've met one that wasn't so okay too. I got lucky that time." Her first encounter with a vampire, and one that she wouldn't forget.

Opening her beer, Connolly laughed and shrugged. "That's alright, I like being small." More rather, she liked proving people wrong since she was judged on her size in a fight all the time. Taking a long drink from the glass of beer, Connolly nodded and sat the beer beside her. "Yup. I fought against them, so they made it hurt more." Storm seemed pretty dead on, on where her chip was at. Connolly leaned her head to the side, exposing her neck more clearly. "Yeah...right there." She turned to look at him, her eyes dropping to his neck. "Do you have one?"

"Shitheads." The fact that Connolly resisted the chip insertion was either very stupid or very admirable and it reminded Storm of himself so he just grinned approvingly. "Showed that you won't go down easily, huh?" he liked that in a person. The perseverance, the nerve to challenge authority. Of course, it had to be said that sometimes just doing what you're told was a wise move. Storm was constantly reminded of this by various members of his pack, but it still had some trouble sticking sometimes. It had never been about adrenaline for him, but more so...narcissism. How dare they tell me what to do.

His sensitive fingers were still brushing against the silken skin of her neck, absently feeling where the flesh had been sliced, then sewn up to produce a small raised scar. "Pretty barbaric." he murmured, dark brows knitting together as he frowned a bit and then looked up to meet her blue eyes with his darker ones. His hand hadn't moved yet. He should probably move his hand but he didn't, it just stayed there. Feeling the heat, the distinct energy radiating from her, that radiated from all living things. Her heartbeat, her breathing, the vague traces of sweat, alcohol and cotton. It was always a little thrilling to be able to sense so much from a person. Seeing, smelling, hearing everything.

"No." he told the truth without thinking, then backpedaled. "My dad says that I don't have to have one." Well, the current pack leader had told them all that. "I don't know why. I don't get claimed either." With strange reluctance, he retracted his hand from her neck and lifted up a naked wrist. "I've never been bitten. By a vampire. Have you?"

Connolly smiled, feeling ever more comfortable that he might have been able to relate. There were a couple indicators. The smoking, the want for a drink, and no telling Connolly that she was stupid for mouthing off and resisting. "Anyone who thinks I will let anyone do anything to me willingly, will be met with a very angry young woman." Her smiled widened just a tad more at the thought.

The hairs on the back of her neck began to stand, not really panicking like she normally would with his hand upon her neck. The last person to have their hand on her neck was looking to kill her. The first vampire. But he was nice, and from what she could tell...not looking to kill her. When their eyes met, Connolly nodded, her voice dropping to a whisper. "Could have been worse." It looked awkward. Connolly couldn't pick up on what he was sensing, but the feeling she got...nah. He wouldn't.

Connolly was snapped back into reality and thrown into a silent fury. He didn't have a chip, because his dad said he didn't have to have one?! That thought alone ripped right through the young girl. And he didn't get claimed. Connolly couldn't get angry at him, as he said he didn't know why. Or was he lying? Connolly studied the young man's features, not picking up a lie anywhere on his face. "N-no. Strangely enough with the way I mouth off to them all, never been bitten." Although that was about to change. Connolly lifted her wrist, showing it was bare too. "Not claimed either. I have someone interested though." Connolly couldn't help but to laugh. "God that sounds terrible."

Her body tensed under his touch, and though she didn't appear alarmed, Storm could hear Connolly's heart rate pick up just a little. Why was that oddly satisfying? That he could have that kind of effect on someone? Surely, his hand was much too warm to be a vampire's, so she couldn't be afraid that he'd bite her. Maybe she just wasn't used to guys touching her, with her super overprotective brother and all. Stupidly enough, that made the boy even smugger and he figured that it was his superior expression that sent the spasm of anger briefly across her features.

"Doesn't sound terrible. If they're nice, then there's no shame in it. From what I've been hearing, it's good to be protected around here. Even if you don't necessarily want protection. Or think you need it." Storm had his occasional rare moments of maturity and right now was one of those moments. Shining with fleeting clarity that very well could've been alcohol induced. Lazily, he finished his second beer, sucked the last of the nicotine from his cigarette and then dropped it down into the bottle to put it out. Then threw that too. Crash.

"Wanna go upstairs and see if there's a bed or something?"

Oh it wasn't terrible at all. The woman was willing to give Connolly practically everything, but it was really only protection that she needed. "Yeah...so I've been told. I was lucky to walk away with my life one time without getting bitten, I don't think I want to chance that again." She wouldn't lie if she had denied her curiosity about Storm.

Connolly finished her beer and nearly choked on the last gulp. Bed?! Coughing a few times, she chucked the bottle to the side and pulled out the flask of vodka. "Yeah..let's go find an or something." Sober, she would have been mad. Drunk, Connolly was laughing and pressing the flask of vodka against Storm's chest. "Drink it up. I can't be the only one drunk here." Connolly began heading up the stairs, not taking any precaution that she'd might fall through a step in a burnt and abandoned house.

"Let's go already! See what we can trash." The Jack was doing his dirty work and Connolly could feel it. She bit her lower lip to feel nothing at all, the first indication that she was on the right path of being blissfully drunk.

"Y'alright?" Something he said apparently had caused some sort of coughing fit and Connolly sprayed him with a little beer before laughing drunkenly. Storm was concerned for a second and then just brushed it off, chuckling as he took the flask and swallowed a few more gulps of vodka. It burned less on the way down this time yet warmed his already overheated body pleasantly until he felt sweatier than he did before. Yeah, he wasn't letting go of this just yet.

Wincing, he kept the flask in his own hand and heaved to his feet, struggling a little until he was able to stand upright and follow her upstairs. "Careful, crazy." Connolly was teetering around a little, making her way up the stairs so Storm followed behind her, one arm stretched out in case she tripped and fell. The stairs creaked ominously below her, and then groaned under his own weight. Would it hold? Storm paused for a second, listening for splintering wood before he continued up the stairs to the second level of the house which was just as bleak as the first floor.

"Shoulda brought some spray paint or something." he commented, tipping the flask up again as they wandered down the grim dark hallway together. It was depressing, honestly. Eerie. A burned, destroyed child's room. Broken toys still on the floor. A bathroom covered in mold. Spider infested closets. Then Storm pushed open the last door, discovering the master bedroom. Or what used to be one. "Suhhh weet. Check it, bed's still standing." Wandering over, he jumped on it and gave a few bounces, dust clouding around his legs.

"I don't do careful, big bear." Connolly grinned and leaned against the wall as soon as she made it up the stairs. She turned to look over her shoulder, watching him pause. Connolly held her breath, imagining what the hell she'd be able to do if he fell through. Not like she could drag his ass out.

"My main concern was the alcohol. Vandalizing can be done another day...with more alcohol." Connolly followed behind him, stopping at the open entry to the children's room. A surge of guilt was felt at the bottom of Connolly's heart, imagining it as Petro's room. The thought was broken when she heard Storm speak, moving to catch up behind him. A fucking bed. "The bed is dirty." Not that she really cared. But it was a bed, with two teenages, and alcohol.

Connolly walked to the side of the bed and took the vodka from Storm for only a brief second to take a drink. Handing it back, she walked around the room, seeing belongings scattered on the floor. Was this part of the rebellion? Punishment for being a privileged human being who expected rights?

Turning on her heel, she walked to the edge of the bed and tilted her head, grinning. "You're not gunna pass out on my are you? You still need to catch up."

Big bear. That reminded Storm of that big blue Disney bear. What was it's name? In the jungle movie. For the life of him, he couldn't remember the bear's name but he liked the nickname anyway so he just took it with another grin. "Sounds like a good plan, Midge." he replied easily, making a mental note to look for spray paint the next time he was in Ranch's garage. No money but he could maybe ask to borrow some. Borrow paint to vandalize with. Of course, no one was going to know that though.

"It's not too dirty," he handed over the flask without objecting and reached down to unfasten the corners of the grimy sheets before he kicked them straight off the bed and onto the floor. The bare mattress underneath was surprisingly cleaner so Storm flopped down against it comfortably, folding his hands behind his head. Not much to look at on the ceiling, just cobwebs and peeling paint.

So, he looked at Connolly instead, watching her inspect the room after handing the flask back. "Nah, not gonna pass out. I have a higher tolerance though so it takes me a little longer." Was she creeped out to be in here? And want to leave? Storm was in no particular hurry. Actually, he wouldn't have minded falling asleep on this very mattress but if she decided that she didn't like it here, he wouldn't dragged himself off it and offered to walk her...back to wherever she lived.

"C'mere." Lazily, he beckoned her closer, grinning rather idiotically. Harmlessly. Though he wasn't completely drunk yet, the combined beer and vodka was always the perfect liquid courage and now he was feeling blissfully uninhibited. "Do you always break your brother rules?"

Storm was right, it wasn't too dirty, which cut the excuse of why she wasn't laying down with him. Althought it was probably a good thing there was a bed. It was way past curfew and Connolly had yet to know what the punishment was for staying out so late...especially when drunk. Double whammy. Underage drinking and staying out past curfew. Storm would probably be in trouble too.

Connolly smiled and looked over to Storm's direction. "Well that's good. At least I know you can keep up." Her fingers ran over the dust and ash covered dresser, wiping the dirt on her jeans. When he beckoned her, she paused for a moment. He didn't feel or appear threatening so why so quick to judge now? Past experiences, possibly, but it was no reason to place all the mistakes of others on this young man's shoulders.

Connolly climbed up on the bed and laid next to him. Feeling uncomfortable, she took off her leather jacket and laid it across her stomach. "We've only just been reunited after ten years of not seeing each other...so he's trying to catch up on everything he missed big brotherly wise." There was a smirk, however, of the topic of rule breaking. "But I like to break rules. I don't like being told what to do, so when told..I do the opposite..usually." There were one or two things she wouldn't do as she felt those were personal decisions.

"What about you? You a rule breaker?"

"That's a long fuckin' time." Storm wondered how it would feel to be separated from his own brothers after ten years. He missed them terribly after just one, but knew that it wasn't likely that he'd ever see them again. It was a terribly gloomy thought so, he tried to shove it away into the attic of his brain as he shifted to lay on his side and face her.

Easy, she was just taking off her leather jacket. Don't get so excited. But it was hard to help, the removal of even outer layers tended to send his imagination into overdrive. He laid there, his head cradled by a wide bicep while doing his best not to envision her stripping the rest of those clothes off.

This was why he usually drank alone. He got weird and either apathetic, horny, or angry. Tonight was a little bit of a strange combination and the boy just hoped that he didn't end up phasing in a stupid moment of alcohol induced emotion.

"That's just reverse psychology. If he told you that you could do whatever the fuck you wanted, you probably would end up pushing that, just to feel some boundaries." That's what a therapist had told him once. "I don't break rules as much as I used to. I'm a reformed delinquent. Kind of. Where are you originally from anyway?"

Connolly shrugged. "It wasn't till I ended up here that I found out why he hadn't come home or communicated more." When she felt him shift, she turned her head to look at him. "But its all better now." Sort of. Does a town full of vampires make any family reunion better? She wasn't sure, but she wasn't about to let it stand in the way of her brother and herself.

She smiled as he seemed to have more than one mature moment tonight. "I like exceeding those boundaries. I'll admit, I have a problem with people underestimating me and I like proving people wrong. I like doing what I'm not supposed to be doing....to a certain extent." The young woman had her limits, which at times, were very few.

"A reformed deliquent? That's no fun." Connolly laughed softly and turned her head to look at the ceiling. "Cali. Lived in Sacramento with my family then once I left..I lived in LA for a while...then moved my way out east." As to the details of why she moved so often, she would keep quiet for now. "What about you? Where you from? Also..." Connolly rolled over to her side, her head resting on her hands. "Is Storm your real name? I mean its cool if it is...I just never met a person actually named Storm."

Communicated anymore? Were telephones and internet connections monitored here as well? The more Storm found out about the town, the crazier the vampires sounded. Of all places in the United States, why would his pack come here? It made no sense. Maybe they were on some sort of secret operation to free the humans. There had already been some sort of failed revolution apparently, before some new vampires took over. If that was the plan, Storm figured that he would do his best to try and get Connolly and her brother out of Shadow Falls. Just...cause. No one liked being trapped.

"That's good." he murmured about her brother, and then lapsed into silence as he listened to her explain the relocation process before turning the question onto him. "Sacramento sounds beautiful. I've never been there. Or LA. Everybody seems to want to live in LA." It felt like he had never really been anywhere notable. "Red Cliff, Colorado. Tiny little town, surrounded by reservations. I'm part Cherokee, we like nature names, I guess. Storm Quintana is my real name." the boy grinned. "And being reformed isn't so bad. Better than being arrested all the time." Anything was better than that.

"What's the certain limit?"

Connolly scrunched up her nose and shook her head with a smile. "Nah. Sacramento is alright. Gets boring after a while. And LA..well..things are easier in LA. Easier to get your hands on the booze, the drugs, and whatever else you're after." Her only reason for moving down to LA was her brother, as that was the last place she knew he had been. It was there she met the wrong people, at the wrong time, and she had happened to be drunk.

She listened while smiling. "Red Cliff sounds a lot better than Sacramento. I heard Colorado was pretty. Your name is nice too. Its unique, different. Different is good." The alcohol was making her even more relaxed and the heat she could feel from Storm was making her quite warm. "True. I spent most of my time running from the cops than actually being arrested." The smile faded somewhat at his question. She should have known he was going to ask, because she knew she would have as well.

"Uhm...killing, unnecessary beating of someone...sex." Oh she had a big thing when it came to sex. "Alright..confession..I'm still a virgin. I just like to think that the person I give it up to really likes me. I won't say love because love is a fucking far stretch and I've seen my sisters get knocked up by guys they barely even know. I just want it to be right..." She had hoped it made sense.

"You have any limits? Or are you the all the way type of guy?"

"Makes sense." Well, no wonder everyone wanted to be in L.A! Storm had always seen it depicted on television as this wild party town, glitzy and oozing with commercialism and crime. The home of movie stars and musicians, of moral bankruptcy, hedonism, and dreams. He had figured that it was just glamorized though, painted up to provide appeal yet...apparently not. Rich and famous really was that sleazy.

If L.A really was that filled with opportunities, then why would Connolly leave? But the girl didn't seem too eager to discuss specifics so Storm got off the topic. "Yeahhh, you might want to avoid killing anyone." he snorted foolishly. "It's okay that you're a virgin though, that's not even a big deal." Seriously, no surprise there. The confession was secretly a little entertaining, stroking his boyish perverted curiosities. She was obviously drunk enough to share awkward confessions with him, so Storm figured that he would do the same.

"As long as you don't get claimed by some vampires who don't feel like waiting for what feels 'right', you should be okay. But I'm pretty much an all the way kinda guy." he smirked. "Not a virgin. Have beaten people up before unnecessarily. Or used to, before I decided to be well behaved." Even having gone so far as infecting another human being with his saliva. But he didn't get into that. "Gets hard...to control myself sometimes though..."

Drunk yeah, it helped spilling things out easily, but she felt more comfortable with strangers than she did with the people who knew her well. Her actins, the reasons why she did anything, she always found it hurting those she cared about, so she remained quiet. Alcohol, someone to relate to, and someone new, it was easier. Like now.

"Nah...my prospect is a she and she already has a lover apparently. Already made a deal that nothing sexual is to ever happen. I made sure of that." Connolly had learned with the people she 'worked' with, on how to make deals and such. She learned not to be pushed around and if you wanted to do something or want something, always do it on your own terms. It was a control thing. It came as no surprise that he wasn't a virgin. Really...what seventeen year old boy wasn't?

Instead of looking all serious and upset, Connolly laughed. "I know what you mean. I started looking for reasons to fight, any excuse just to say the fight was worth it." Connolly found herself relating, but not in the sense he probably meant. "I understand though. All that pent up aggression and frustration and no one to let it out on...right?"

If both of them had been sober, or at the very least, if Storm had been sober, he would've definitely been more interested in the convenient arrangement that she had acquired with a pair of vampire lovers. Yet never suspected that it was the owners of In Vein, which he was unaware of it's true purpose. Mariana had told him that it was a bar, a bar for vampires. And so, the boy had believed that but he didn't know anyone who worked there. At least Connolly seemed self assured about the situation, like she knew what she was doing. That was pretty admirable too.

"There's these things called gyms, ya know." he joked. "Where you can work out your physical aggression. It helps a lot, but it's not as nice as cracking someone's face open with a crow bar. I'll give you that." With a groan, the boy laid flat on his back once more and stretched his arms high over his head, letting his tee shirt ride up. "I'm sure you got everyone telling you to be careful and shit, and it gets as annoying as fuck so I won't be a broken record. But I will say that you're lucky to get an offer like that, and that you should probably be smart with it. Not piss anyone off, give them a reason to target you. Try and stay alive, yeah?" he groped for a cigarette, but found only the empty box.

Dammit. He tossed it to the floor. "You wasted?"

Connolly stuck out her tongue as he joked. "A gym isn't the same as a boxing gym, its not the same as a bag, and yeah...not the same as a crow bar to a face." She couldn't help but to look as his shirt rode up, seeing he was more than in shape. Limits, Connolly. Limits. "Careful there, Big Bear, starting to sound like you care." She was teasing but she appreciated what he was saying.

Grinning, Connolly arched her back to pull out her box of Marlboro reds and lighter. Placing a cigarette between her lips, she lit it up and handed it over to Storm. "I'm drunk but its slowly kinda wearing off I think. Are you wasted?" Connolly stayed on her side, watching him.

"Jussayin'." Storm joked back, yawning widely as his long legs dangled off the end of the mattress, thanks to his tall height. It hadn't begun to wore off for him yet but maybe that's what the intense drowsiness was. Rolling over his large frame with heavy waves of sleepiness, and weighing down his eyelids until it felt like a battle to keep them open anymore. "Kinda tired." he admitted honestly, watching as she lit the cigarette and passed it over to him with a grin.

Appreciatively, he took the cig to inhale a deep drag and then returned it to her as he lay back and blew a stream of smoke towards the ceiling. The room fell strangely quiet, a deep silence lapsing over the teenagers after the endless stream of chatter. It was kind of peaceful actually, so Storm shifted again to look into Connolly's face, it looked more fragile now than when he had first shown up, for some reason. Tiny, fine boned and very breakable. Hesitantly, he lifted a numb drunken hand to softly cup it....and then just stayed like that. Gazing at her intricate face in his hand. It would be easy to hurt her, kill her, kiss her. Anything he wanted.

But after a moment, his dark eyes flicked away and he rolled over, his hand leaving her face. "Let's sleep." he said simply, and let his eyes fall shut. Presently, low rasping snores emitted from the giant sleeping lump.

"I get it. You've finally got a hook up and me dying tomorrow would cut those supplies fast. I promise if I die, I'll give you what's left of my stash." It was morbid, but funny in Connolly's opinion. Connolly only smiled and nodded, admitting she was tired as well. There would be going back to the apartment, which would probably flip out Mika. But at least she wasn't out after curfew, right? Connolly was also safe, or at least she felt safe until Storm reached out to cup her face. She couldn't understand his meaning. Was he going to kiss her or hurt her? It was always something Connolly couldn't distinguish. Someone wanting to hurt her or be affectionate towards her.

Connolly held her breath for that moment, letting the cigarette burn in her hand. When he let go of her, Connolly felt confused. Was she supposed to give him a hint? A hint for what? The look of confusion lingered for a moment before she turned over to out out the cigarette I n the floor. "Yeah, sleep sounds good." Connolly rolled back over to her side to face him again, curling up into a small ball, not taking up much room on the bed, unlike Storm. "Night."
