Drina smiled a bit at Belle's accent; it reminded her of the way people spoke in Texas. "I noticed the tracks from the wolves, but I didn't actually see any. I spoke to a woman on the forum and she called them 'wargs' or something. But the tracks were all around my door and house. I think if you look, you can see where a couple scratched at it."
"Understandable. I'm sure that it'd be much easier having someone you love nearby." She didn't mean for it to sound cryptic, but she found suddenly, that she was slightly jealous of Belle and Cooper - the latter she had not met just yet. If Heath had been here with her, things would be much easier. At the very least, she would be able to sleep better at night if he was next to her.
"Oh, you're fine!" Drina beamed. "It helps to get your troubles off your chest." She pulled some silverware out of a nearby drawer before she motioned toward the table. "Have a seat. There's plenty of food, so you can dig right in."
