"Drina Perez," For a brief moment she felt like she did when Heath would take her out for lunch with some of his partners. It felt odd to experience a hint of normalcy when she was who knew how far from home. "And muffins are great. I have a lot of fruits and vegetables in here." She motioned with a nod toward the kitchen. "Come on in! You can sit the muffins anywhere on the table."
Drina walked toward the refrigerator. "I'm glad you could come by. I've only talked to one other person while here. I mean, it's only been a day, but I still have no idea how many are here. Have you adjusted well?" Peering inside the refrigerator she found a pitcher of guava pineapple juice. "I have milk as well, and I think there is some soda in the bottom drawer here... Which would you prefer? I think it all goes with chicken."
She had prepared a rather simple meal of grilled chicken, but with the fresh vegetables, she had made her own pico de gallo to go along with it. She had also been surprised to find enough flour to make tortillas. Whoever had brought her here knew everything there was to know about her. She glanced at the photograph of her and Heath that was just in the hallway before returning her gaze to her guest.
