Copper WHO: Eden & Open WHERE: Out on the 'streets' WHEN: Late afternoonish
Eden awoke promptly at dawn as she always did. It didn't immediately register that she was in a room that was not her own and a whole lot nicer than the room she had been in. Instead, she noticed the copper tang... There were a lot of things that could make that taste in her mouth. From innocent things like vitamins and antibiotics to horrible things like cancer. But none of those were really an issue. Ed slipped out from underneath the covers and stretched her arms over her head. The softens of the blankets registered then.
Glancing around, she frowned deeply. This was not good but it didn't seem... bad either. It was clearly not any branch of the Kenyan government as they would've locked her up in a filthy cell with the rest of the rabble. And it likely wasn't the organization. They didn't want her anymore. It wasn't the ship either as the floor wasn't moving underneath her feet and the ambient noises did not scream of an Australian city. Sighing heavily, she got up fully and looked around slowly and carefully for any clue, checking the computer last as it wasn't really that trustworthy but she took the letter at face value for now.
Ed could now focus on other things - mainly peeing, showering and getting dressed. She dressed simply with black jeans and a matching tank top and her steel-toed hiking boots. Thankfully they had provided... And she knew they had provided her own damned things. After a moment's thought, she switched the tank top to a shirt with three quarter sleeves to hide her tattoos. From there she moved to the kitchen and loaded up on as many kitchen knives as she could hide on her person. She had checked outside her door to make sure no one would see her as she left.
From then on, Eden had kept to the shadows and between the buildings as she explored the grounds and the island, keeping to the 'populated' area. She'd caught sight of a few people but never made contact. It'd been some time since that wake-up in the morning and she was settled in a secluded spot so she could watch what was rather like the town square and accost the first person she saw. Woe to them.
