Laying down the lines.
Date: January 26th - little after 11AM
Character(s): Pansy Parkinson & Astoria Greengrass
Location: The Black Hotel
Status: Private
Summary: Pansy & Astoria talk about organising the Valentine's Gala.
Completion: Incomplete.
Pansy stalked down the last flight of stairs before reaching the ground floor. It was past eleven already, making her late for her meeting with the youngest Greengrass. Pansy didn't do late. But her meeting with the staff had kept her longer than she had anticipated. It really shouldn't have. She had morning meetings with them on a daily base, but of course, today, they decided to act like a bunch of sodden incompetent fools, questioning her every order and not seeming to understand the importance of getting to work and finishing their bloody tasks before the end of day.
There was still a lot left to be done before the Valentine's Gala and nothing was to be left to luck or coincidence. Pansy wanted everything to be absolutely perfect so the grand opening of the Hotel could coincide with the event held by the Ministry. It was in everybody's best interest if all went smoothly and without fault. And even if the Ministry had handpicked the Greengrass girl, Pansy sincerely hoped that she had the best interest at heart as well. If not... Well, there would be hell to pay.
Leaving the final steps of the grand staircase behind her, she immediately spotted the blonde woman looking around the reception area. One glance to the welcome witch told her she'd been waiting for quite a while. 'Bloody ignorant buggers will pay for that later.' She mentally noted, brushing a wayward strand of dark hair out of her face as she approached her 11 o'clock appointment.
Pansy might not usually do late, but she certainly did not do apologies either. People might consider that rude, but she could care less. She had a long day and a busy schedule ahead of her; besides, Pansy had a business to run and the intent at heart to make it a success, too. "Miss Greengrass." She spoke in a clear voice to catch Astoria's attention, gaze locking on her face as she strode past and beckoning her to follow. Pansy Parkinson - woman on a mission. "This way, please."
