Lily nodded as if she knew. Which she didn't, of course. She knew what she'd heard, but the rest was simply speculation on her end. "Sure," she agreed when he mentioned needing more time. "I really ... I don't honestly know much about that sort of stuff. You and Tonks and however that worked out. Or ... didn't ... work out or what it was like or anything like that," she admitted. Which was sort of a given, really, and she flushed slightly before shrugging it off.
"He's not a wolf," Lily thought to offer. "He's an animagus, like his mum. So your ... you ... that part didn't carry over from you."
Maybe that would make him feel better, or alleviate his worries or something? She wasn't even sure where she'd been going with that, exactly.
