He didn't envy Tyler being thrust into a position of leadership like that. Remus knew he could lead if he had to, but it wasn't something he ever felt compelled to do and he knew it would drain a lot out of him. That was possibly why he was trying to help where he could.
"If I knew quick fixes for broken hearts, I think I would have been a lot richer than I was," he murmured with a light smile, shaking his head.
Exhaling, he studied Tyler and while he strangely wanted to sit next to the other bloke on the bed, he remembered it was Jaime's bed and suddenly wasn't sure where to put himself.
"I hope not," he answered wryly. "I don't know. I'd like to say no because.. I don't want to die and I can make arguments for it. I've been pretending that it isn't just as easy to make arguments for the other side, as well."
