Over. It was finally over. Lily had crashed as soon as things seemed to be under control, and she'd slept for a very long time. It was later in the afternoon when she finally did wake up, and for a moment, she simply laid in bed and relished the warmth of it before she stretched and enjoyed the feel of her muscles moving without the cold-induced stiffness that had plagued her for the past ... couple of days.
Even as she laid in bed, she thought and tried to formulate some sort of agenda. She had to start getting things back into some semblance of order, and see if anyone had checked on everyone, but she was fairly certain Tristan and Hugo had started that earlier. All the same, it would be remiss of her not to make sure someone had checked to make sure that everyone was all right.
Dinner was out of her hands, and for once, she was glad of it. It meant there was no reason for her to rush down to the kitchen and try to get everything ready. Maybe surrendering that wasn't going to be so very painful after all. She still had breakfast, and really, that suited her just fine.
Lily smiled as she finally eased out of bed, and it felt good to smile. Yes, there were bumps in the road and there were going to be awkward places, but she'd pull through them, she was sure. One way or another, in the end ... she'd pull through.
After taking a very long shower, Lily checked the network to see if there was anything of interest. She thought about sending out some notes, but ... well, she'd go visiting in person. There were a few people she wanted to get in touch with personally rather than over the network.
She dressed with the later evening in mind, donning a knee-length skirt and a button-up blouse (simply because there was just something ... well, it was best she didn't think about that just yet). She didn't bother with shoes, though she did pull her hair up into a braid so it wouldn't get snarled or in her way while she was visiting.
After she'd checked on a few people and received confirmation from Tristan that yes, everyone they'd checked on really was fine, Lily decided she'd done enough mother henning and she wandered back to the second floor hallway ... but not to her room.
Rapping lightly on Balthazar's door, she waited. Maybe he wasn't in, or maybe he was sleeping, but if he didn't answer, she ... would just wander back to her room and see if he came to look for her.
