"Happy pictures to drive the dementors away," she agreed, nodding her head a bit more than was strictly necessary in her excitement. The lights dimmed slightly, and the excitement diminished, though Lizzy wasn't sure if that was because she remembered that the happy thoughts were what drew the dementors out, or if it was the ghostly things themselves that was causing her discomfort. Maybe some combination thereof.
"I told her that I was coming down," she told Tyler hesitantly, though now her thoughts were changing. She was not enough. She was stupid and small and annoying and Ari was much better company than she was because Ari was older and knew when to not talk out of turn and ask stupid questions and Tyler would rather be colouring with her, Lizzy was sure of it, and that was why he'd set it up because he knew that Ari liked colouring and Lizzy was just allowed to tag along because she was a friend of Ari's, and she lowered her head slightly, pushing the markers around a bit.
"I could..." she started, frowning at the marker's intensely. She'd been about to offer to do something, and now she forgot. Then she started to pull out her device, and looked at it curiously for a moment before she held it up for Tyler to see. "Ches is upstairs," she told him. She thought she was making it clear that she could tell Ches to bring Ari downstairs, but perhaps she wasn't.
