Simon nodded slightly as he watched the pair of them. When the dog laid down, he wondered if he should stick around or offer to move him upstairs or anything like that. He probably just needed to rest, and Simon nodded again.
"Do you want me to help you get him upstairs or anything like that?" he offered. "Or carry the bowl for you?" While he was fairly certain Didymus could handle the bowl, he wasn't sure he'd want to both keep the bowl from jostling while walking Ambrosius to the elevator.
He didn't mind, either way; he just wanted his patient to be comfortable.
