Unsure what to make of the lack of acknowledgement, Jake offered the guy a hesitant smile. He glanced over to Oy, who was watching almost expectantly. That was a little more familiar, and Jake grinned. "Go say hi, Oy."
"I, Oy," the bumbler echoed, grinning up to the man in the way he had. It showed his teeth, but not in a malicious way.
"I'm Jake," he said as he shrugged, hands sliding into his pockets. "We can ... if you were ..." he gestured with one elbow. "If we were bothering you, we can go," he assured him.
There were plenty of other places to go, after all, and he wasn't sure why Oy had wanted to come up here to begin with.
