Jaime nodded slightly. She wanted to lie to him now. Assure him the girl was fine ... but she supposed she saw why it was so hard. When there's a giant fucking elephant in the room, it was hard to pretend it was just a dog. No matter how much she'd like it to be a dog.
Which made her think of Dug, also gone. As annoying as he'd been at times, she'd grown fond of him, and this ... just sucked.
"Lily's son," Jaime said faintly. "Harry ... was, but I'm sure you ... his daughter's still here," she offered. It was a shoddy consolation prize, she knew, but ... there it was.
"I wonder if ... this is all we're getting from them for the week or if they're going to start in on ... on everything else again. Videos or vocals or ... experiments or something." She hoped not. She didn't want to have to take anything else.
