She frowned a little. She wanted to be good at it, but she didn't think she would be, and she wasn't sure she understood what he meant or why it seemed to amuse him that she might be bad. Or why it was funny that his last pupil wasn't. And if someone else was bad at it, then didn't that somehow increase her chances of being bad at it?
Sighing, she decided it didn't matter right now. They couldn't do anything about it anyway right now.
Scritching lightly at the side of her nose because it itched, Ariana tipped her head to one side. "Think I'm going to go try to read some of Magius' book now," she said, since it was rude to simply wander off when one had been conversing.
