Severus nodded, quite pleased to hear that. The more he heard about Magius, the more he liked the fellow. "Definitely no harm in trying," he agreed with another nod, and moved Magius up another peg on his mental scale for his concern with safety.
"Neither do I," Severus added, with another shake of his head regarding guns. He'd never particularly cared for them, and they were fairly useless against a wizard, anyway. The one time he'd been 'mugged' whilst living in London, he'd melted his would-be attacker's gun into an unrecognizable puddle of goo.
"Not so far," he said, when she asked if he'd been learning others magic. "But I would like to." He took another bite, to cover his hesitation, then chewed and swallowed before adding, "There was also something that I was specifically thinking of teaching you, if you would be interested."
