"She can't use mine," Balthazar said sweeping into the kitchen. He was referring to his ring, having just overheard Tyler's comment. Sometimes he wondered if he subconsciously planned these dramatic entrances. "At least, not in here. The last time I did that we startled a cow, burned down a city... I'm sure you've all heard the song."
A brief sweep of the kitchen had him recognizing all the faces from the network, even if he didn't know their names. He gave a nod to Tyler out of respect for the position he held in this ragtag group - it may have been self appointed and not really governing over anything, but it called for some measure of respect all the same - and offered a small smile to the others. "Balthazar Blake," he introduced himself. "I apologize for my tardiness, I rather lost track of time."
And he hadn't really known what time it was supposed to start, for that matter. He offered a small wave to Lily if he caught her eye, and otherwise fell silent, ready to listen.
