Happily, I can teport the four amendments voted on last night passed with 73, 97, 88, and 77% of the vote respectively. They all required 50%. Thank you all for your continued participation.

[Filtered to Council]

I think in the next round of amendments, we should revisit provision 4.5. I don't think it's a bad idea necessarily, but needs to be reworded.

But I suppose the priority now is, what does this new timer mean, and what to do with Natasha Romanoff when she comes back.

Which version of Article 4.4 was passed?

After a minimum of three experiments or 4 months (whichever arrives first) any member of the Collective may choose to transfer squads. Such a transfer must be approved by the new Squad's Council member. At the discresion of the Council Member and the New Squad, they can choose to vote on whether or not to honor the transfer request.

Transferring?

If I can identify enough like-minded people to make it worthwhile; yes.

Otherwise, there's no point. Everyone's just about as intolerable as you;.

You could do worse than me. At least I'm straight-forward.

Among other things.

I am willing to endure less than perfect company if it means putting a slightly less sycophantic voice somewhere in the pantheon of our superpowered Council.

Then perhaps what you need to do is convince your Council member to accept incoming transfers.

Regardless of which direction the movement flows, there would also have to be a Constitutional amendment proposed to make some provision for elections ever taking place again, which it currently lacks; or at least for replacement based on grounds other than incapacity. The best order in which to take these steps requires some consideration.

That's not an unreasonable request for a future amendment, so long as you're not that one who puts it forward. Obviously, who says what seems to count more than the what.

I'll help you.

Then don't trust me. You aren't exactly rolling in better options.

Almost any option's better than waiting to discover at what point you'll decide to throw me over. A traitor's a traitor. That is really quite straightforward.

I've asked my father to speak to those involved on Natasha's filter to decide if it's reasonable to assume the Council was made aware, before yesterday, of her dire conditions and failed to act, as I feel as though that will be the basis for the case the defense will try to build, and I want to get ahead of it.

We do have to finalize the charges we're going to bring, and appoint a juror to prosecute. I'd hoped she'd have something to say for herself, but I guess we're still waiting on that.

Isn't she some sort of soldier?

I'd have trouble imagining a situation dire enough to justify her actions in under a week, especially given the standard we've faced and held people responsible for their actions in to this point.

People were in cow pens longer, and I didn't see Darcy Lewis campaigning for their wrongful imprisonment or trying her hand at cattle herding. But, we do need to be prepared for that approach.

They were, and even with support, I'd have called the winter exposure more serious than the shelter of even a rudimentary bunker. In fact, I'm still not sure that shouldn't likewise be pursued--though I suppose it is complicated by being children that caused it.

But Ms. Romanoff can bring whatever story she thinks excuses her. We're not exactly unprepared. The jury's tried and convicted people who were sick or in "dire circumstances" before.

I'm interested to see what she has to say too, but I'm not expecting anything exculpatory.

I don't dislike there being a method for creating a new squad, but the taking place immediately without any oversight seems to be a glaring oversight.

Or I suppose, given Mr. Hux's inclinations, an intentional one that we should excise.

I'm certain it was intentional on his part, yes. Because I agree with you. There needs to be oversight, in this, especially if we include it with other squad movements.
