Lucretia had learned in her days on the Starblaster that there just was no way to politely say "so I heard you in the bathroom just now...", but given how panicked her squadmate and current roommate sounded, she couldn't not say anything. She had seen his posts on the network - always oral, never written - and given that he'd walked into a few things before he made his way into the bathroom she could guess that he had, at the very least, a vision impairment if not total blindness. She could sympathize with his panic if that was the case. She'd never been literally blind, but metaphorically every year for a century she'd felt as though she was, a blind woman stumbling into the unfamiliar and quite often dangerous, never knowing when she might die, or her friends might die, or if they all might die and doom every world in the entire multiverse to a painful and terrifying fate. Even after they landed for goodsies on Faerun, the feeling of wandering into the unknown never quite stopped. The establishment of the Bureau and the moonbase gave her the sensation of a bit more control, even if it was just an illusion. She could try to offer a bit of the same solace, and perhaps some reassurances. But first to get him out of the bathroom. If she'd learned anything from Taako and Lup (and she had indeed learned so much from them), it was that food was the perfect way to endear yourself to someone. So she grabbed the menu that had been provided for them and knocked on the door. "Mr...Murdock, was it?" she called. "I am going to order some food and could use a bit of help, if you wouldn't mind providing it." She could probably figure out the menu on her own, and even if she couldn't the pictures looked delicious so she would likely enjoy anything she ordered, but it was hopefully a good way to get him out from behind a locked door. They could take the rest of their time from there. |
