Regina was consciously aware of the amount of time that had passed since she was once again separated from her son. In fact, it was rather difficult to ignore since the photo that had arrived with her was an ever constant reminder. Sure, Regina could have destroyed it the moment she realized that she couldn’t ever leave. But instead she worked hard at not allowing it to consume her. Which worked until she made a visit to see Helena and the babies. It was during that visit that she was reminded of when Henry was that small. Of a time when he was so dependent on her. And it reminded her of how much she was going to miss Robyn and Neal growing up. Thankfully there were more pressing matters that kept her from focusing on that too much. Like why the Wittgenstein was suddenly helping them. While she was grateful for the training they were offering she was also suspicious. There was a feeling in the pit of her stomach that something was coming. Something that was going to test them harder than they had been tested before. But no matter what they were thrown into, Regina, was firm in her belief that they still had a choice. That their decisions were decided by them and them alone. A belief that she verbalized in response to comments made following Amos’ post on the network. Though no one had responded to her belief she was content with knowing that it had been said. And now she could focus on distracting Amos from thinking of what awaited them in the future. So, after spending some time perfecting her yoga poses, Regina, headed to the cafe on the main floor. Her room wasn’t designed in such a way that would make for a comfortable story telling experience. Neither was the cafe for that matter but it was an improvement. After paying for her cup of coffee, Regina, walked out into the courtyard in search of a table that afforded them the privacy they’d need. The less who overheard what she would soon be revealing the better. When her eyes fell on one that would provide just that she walked over there and sat down to patiently await Amos’ arrival. |
