...I know a lot of people used their Amazon money to buy practical things, and I applaud that. But I just spent about $350 dollars on art supplies and I could not be happier.

[Constitution Committee: Hank, Xavier, Steves (616 + MCU), Bruce (616), Tony (616), Jennifer, Leia, Bail, Mon Mothma, Maria Hill, Sharon Carter (616)]

Sharon and I finished drawing up A draft of the groups. Edit: New Draft

I figure now is the time we should make changes, and then it'll be ready after we're finished with the constitutional vote.

I have some updates on how things are progressing if you've got a minute?

I have several minutes. I'd be happy to hear someone's been working, through all this.

Are you an artist?

As much as I enjoy the beach, this is far more important. It's a priority for me that we get something on the books before we're thrown into a new scenerio. So far, our discussions have been on centralizing a punishment system to enforce the Constitution, striking the ability to opt out of participation, and beginning to draft the precincts, which - if you have input on, I'll discreetly pass along.

I was an artist, once, in another life. War changed that for me.

I'd be curious to hear the details on an enforcement system, if any materialize. It's an area in which I expect to run into a great deal of trouble with the current drafting committee being what it is. Any opportunity to weaken their product would be well-taken. The groups look rather insular in many cases, which I think likely works to the advantage of those who wish to underscore the need for centralization. I'd like to see a few of the more easily manipulable personalities deposited where they might do some good. Groups 1, 4, 5, and 11 strike me as utterly lost causes, but with a few plants the rest could be reliably thrown into chaos on a regular basis.

Yes; I've heard people say that war breeds art, but I can't say I've ever seen it, myself.

No, my numbers just got a little thrown by the disappearances this morning.

That was rather interesting.

What about something like this. It's a bit more balanced size-wise and breaks up the teenagers and sociopaths a little more.

I was a little concerned that putting too many teenagers with their mentors just means doubling up a single vote.

It's clearly been some time since you worked closely with teenagers.

I think it fosters a bit more independence to allow them their own group which they naturally already are comfortable with. I'm afraid they might feel like their voice is lost if they're separated. We have to keep in mind that they're mostly 18 and above.

At least we did. I've been shaking ladybugs off the constitution for at least two hours.

I don't know. Somehow I'm not all that bothered. Today seems particularly nice, I just can't quite place it.

Group 8 is a bit Hotel heavy but overall I think the new draft could work.

Do we have a process for any who would like to petition joining a different group?

It might be Hotel heavy, but I'm not sure we should put too much weight on how the scientists broke us up. Unless you think they might vote as a unit?

For me, it really depends on the reason people want to move. I guess we could leave it up to the individual groups whether they want to accept someone who wants to move over. But I think we should try and keep the initial groups as in until the constitution is passed, unless there's some extreme reason someone can't stay where they are.

I'm not certain how the relationships are with that group.

And then for when new people arrive, how are we distributing them?

It'll only be difficult for people without anyone here they already know. I'm sort of hoping they'll gravitate towards a certain group, but it might take some trial and error?

It's the new ones without any initial ties that worry me most. I would tend to give them more leeway to changing groups than the others who arrive knowing others here. Especially if we'll want them assigned to a group within a few days of arrival so their needs and rights are met as well.
