No.

I may still be in training. But I keep the oath of service at my bedside so I know it pretty well. A S.H.I.E.L.D. agent is supposed to protect people who can't or don't know to protect themselves.

They're more than the Avengers because our comms training and capacity for intel the first and last line of defense. And, frankly put, that's not a lot of capacity for intelligence here, Ma'am.

The people need a shield.
