Marcus listened to her talk about one of Clint's distant relatives, trying not to laugh as he did. Well, she was definitely outspoken. "I get the feeling that a lot of Clint's more distant family has had more than their fair share of run ins with bludgers," he said with a small smirk. "It's a good thing thing he's not more closely related to them or else Daphne would be in for an interesting lifetime."
Clint and most of his immediate family were really surprisingly intelligent. Clint didn't always act like it, but Marcus always assumed it was just because he didn't want people to actually expect things from him. Really though, Clint was more intelligent than Marcus which was...annoying. But he also had his fair share of idiots in the family. Although, Marcus supposed every family had a good amount of idiots in it, especially in the pureblood ones. Centuries of inbreeding tended to have that effect on later generations.
Marcus glanced over at Clint and Daphne again who both looked...just deliriously happy, then over to Adrian who was still talking to and occasionally snogging that girl. What was her name again? Marcus had been briefly introduced to her the night before at the rehearsal but he hadn't bothered to remember her name or anything. She seemed weird and quiet and timid and did he mention she seemed kind of weird? Marcus was definitely going to have to ask Adrian more about her at some point if Adrian planned on keeping her around. "Tell you what," he said, his attention falling back on Tori, "after you and I are done, I'll go distract Daphne so that you can get at Clint. After all, if she's going to be officially stealing my man, I have things to tell her. Like what he likes for breakfast and how he prefers his shirts to be pressed and all."
