The actual ceremony had gone off without a hitch. The weather had held well to have the ceremony outside and in the early evening, and nearly everyone who was anyone in wizarding society had been in attendance, save for two reporters who had been allowed in to cover the event after being approved by both the groom and his family. It had been a fairly traditional wedding, clearly focused on the societal aspect of the whole thing, as Mrs. Warrington had done a fair amount of the planning herself. The bridesmaids and groomsmen had looked just as flawless as hoped and the flower girl had been just as adorable as expected. It was everything that proper pureblood society expected out of a marriage between two families like the Warringtons and Greengrasses. With Mr. Greengrass in Azkaban, the bride had been escorted by Mr. Warrington, having practically been a second father to the Greengrass girls while they grew up.
After the ceremony was all said and done, the whole event moved inside for the reception. The evening started off incredibly formal with the proper toasts and meals and dances and cake, but as the evening got later, the whole event became much more relaxed as some of the elder guests headed out and left the younger ones to enjoy each other's company. Part way through the evening, the tables were moved to the sides to allow space for dancing and mingling and the open bar provided was being put to good use. There had been minimal drama between guests thus far, but the night was still young and the alcohol was still flowing.
