Tori gave Katie a hesitant smile, unsure what it was between them that made things a bit awkward. Surely the situation at the hospital wasn't worth such awkwardness. She didn't have much time to think on the matter, however, before Marcus was leading her out onto the dance floor and the bright smile returned to her face. She spotted her Mother speaking with Mrs. Greengrass, their eyes meeting for a moment in order for her Mother to raise a teasing eyebrow at her and cause her to flush again. Merlin.
"Oh, it's been lovely," she answered, her eyes moving back to Marcus when his hand settled on her back and he led off. "Though, I'm not fond of that Xander bloke," she continued, making a face at the thought of some third cousin twice removed of Clint's. If he'd been removed twice she couldn't help but wonder why he'd still managed to secure an invite. "He's quite smitten and keeps telling me that he's a beater for his school Quidditch team. Personally, I think he didn't see a few of the bludgers coming, if you know what I mean?"
Really, she shouldn't be making fun of people at a wedding, particularly a relative of the groom, but she just couldn't help it. "No, he's been quite busy and I feel bad tearing him away from Daphne," she explained. "Adrian said he'd distract Daphne for me, but he's too busy snogging his girlfriend." She huffed. She had nothing against Emma, in fact she thought she was rather adorable, but when you were used to being the only girl your brother actually cared about it was annoying to have to share.
