Who: Drew and Alicia
When: Thursday Night
Where: Drew's Place, Chinatown
What: Action Movies and Chinese.

Exhausted was a nice word to describe his day. He'd had to actually go into the office that morning for a debriefing on the case and that had been far more frustrating than he had hoped for. It appeared that some of the senior Aurors thought the same way Geoff did. More importantly, he'd had to explain just when he was going to be bringing Mandy to the Ministry. Ha hadn't told Mandy about the questioning yet. He was kind of dreading it, if he was honest with himself. They'd had a nice night, the other evening. It had been normal for once. Just the two of them, her bed, and a couple of action movies. He hadn't wanted to ruin that. Normally, he wouldn't have minded, but Geoff was so worked up on Drew repeating his own mistakes that she was guilty until proven innocent. With the arrival of Geoff's Ex, he was sure the situation was only going to get worse.

Tonight, however, was a very different sort of movie night. It had been a while since he'd had the chance to hang out with Ali and tonight, of all nights, was perfect for it. Mandy was usually busy this time of the week as she somehow managed to get all of her orders completed, which left him rather bored. When one person was both the pleasure and the business it left you with a whole lot more time on your hands. In his case, he chose to fill that time with his "other best friend". He and Drew were thick as thieves, always had been, but outside of Drew Ali was it. Seriously, how many people were not only friends but had break up presents that they never took off?

Having thrown in their first of two movies, Drew left the case on the coffee table and headed to the kitchen to begin setting up their snacks as he waited for Ali to show; a variety of their favourite Chinese dishes, three different kinds of crisps, some cold ale, and some dip.

Alicia was excited to be hanging out with Drew. She felt like she never got to see him anymore. Of course, that was probably because of his shady job and her busy practice and game schedule. Plus, she'd been spending what little free time she had with Katie or Geoff so...it was about time that she and Drew had a night. Well, okay, so they'd just played pool together like a week ago or something, but that felt like much longer, really. Time was hard to keep up with when you didn't have a regular sleep schedule.

She'd spent the previous night with Geoff, who'd come over to hang out. Clearly something was bothering him but he wasn't much for sharing and she wasn't going to push it. Geoff didn't share much with Alicia really, and she was fine with that. She knew the reasons why (though that was because of Drew) and she understood his need for secrecy. So things stayed fairly simple with her and Geoff. Just some hanging out, superficial conversation, and sex. Now Drew, on the other hand? Things were different with him. There weren't loads of secrets and all that and even though they were technically exes, things rarely got weird between them. He was fun and she was glad he'd trusted her enough at some point to tell her at least a little about his life.

So when he'd invited her over, she'd jumped at the chance. She'd thrown on some shorts and a tank and headed to his place. She gave a few small knocks on his door before seeing if she could just go in. He was expecting her, right? So she shouldn't be warded out. And much to her pleasure, the door opened when she attempted to opent it and she let herself inside. "Drew! One of your favourite pairs of tits is here!" she called out as she closed the door behind her. "Well....maybe one of your top 100 or something..." After all, she was pretty flat chested. But whatever. Details and all that.

The wards on his apartment were much the same as he'd placed on Mandy's. Anyone could essentially enter the Flat so long as they had no ill will towards him ... of course, Mandy's were know much tighter, but that was beside the point. Alicia had arrived and they could get their night underway. Naturally she had a way with announcing her presence, which had Drew snorting from his spot in the kitchen. Moving to the fridge he pulled out a couple beers as he called back, "Second favourite, if you want to get technical."

He and Ali had the best sort of relationship. They could pretty much talk about anything and if one of them tore a strip off the other, hexes would probably be swapped but it would end with them brushing each other off and grabbing a beer before heading home. He couldn't really explain why, they'd always just gotten along.

"You want white cheddar or dill pickle this time?" he asked, referring to Popcorn flavours. Everyone knew Drew had a strange addiction to Dill Pickle, but they also had no problem choosing something else, so he always had something different on hand. If worse came to worse, he could always make two bowls. What's a little calories in the grand scheme of things.

Alicia gave a small snort at his call back. She could deal with second. She was surprised to be ranked that high, to be honest. She headed towards the kitchen where his voice had come from and gave him a smile when she saw him there. "You mean that other girl of yours has better than this?" she asked playfully as she pointed at her chest. "I find that super hard to believe," she said with a laugh, knowing full well that she basically had a male's chest. Actually, some of those Quidditch blokes had pecs that were larger than her tits, but it is what it is. Alicia was totally okay with her body. And with making fun of it.

Ali, more than anything, was a huge tomboy at heart. She'd always been one of the guys. Sure, she was incredibly close with Katie and Angelina....but they were pretty close to guys anyway. Katie ate like one and Angelina was anything but girly. They were a good trio, really. But nothing beat hanging out with actual guys. For some reason it was just more...fun? Especially with Drew and Geoff. They were bloody brilliant friends.

Alicia leaned against one of the counters as she got the beer Drew had pulled out for, she assumed, her. "I swear, you're like a bloody pregnant bird with that pickle popcorn of yours," she said with an amused shake of her head. "Go with the pickle. I'm not hungry enough to warrant having you make me my own bowl of another kind," she said with a shrug. And honestly, she wasn't picky about tastes. She could eat anything. She just...didn't eat much of it. Too much food started to make her feel sick rather quickly. Now, alcohol on the hand, was a completely different story. She practically lived off of it during the off season.

Drew shot her a smirk when she entered the kitchen, his thoughts drifting to Mandy for a moment. "I'm sad to say it, but yes, she does," he was glad she wasn't overly worried about how she looked. First off, he didn't really see the attraction to large tits. Half the time they were just in the way. Second, it was bloody fucking annoying dealing with woman who were more worried about if their arses looked big. "They tend to move around just tad bit more," he teased, knowing Mandy would probably smack him for talking about her like this. It was just how Ali and Drew were. They said what they wanted to.

He laughed at her expected comment about the pickle. "Shut up, it's good," he shot back, adding the desired flavouring. He hated just butter popcorn. It was oily and disgusting. When he finished, he grabbed the bowl and nodded toward the sitting room. "Seeing as we went with classic the last time, I grabbed up some new ones. So buckle in, Spinnet."

It had been hard to steer clear of Die Hard and other such classic's but in the end he'd picked up two. Black Hawk Down, which looked like it'd have lots of blowing shit up (always fun) and The Bourne Identity. The later he just couldn't resist. He loved those secret opt. films, particularly where the Operatives turned against them. "Which do you want first?" he asked, setting the popcorn down where the Chinese sat on the coffee table. She may not eat a whole lot, but he still ate like a guy.

When he made the comment about them moving, Alicia gave a small jump and looked down at her chest. "Good point. I guess the fact that mine don't move pretty much at all just helps make me a better athlete or something," she said with a shrug. "Can you imagine doing all of the flying with big old weights flapping around on your chest? Merlin. I'd bind the fuckers so tight..." she trailed off before taking a sip of her ale, not really sure why was she talking about breasts still. It was a little weird, really.

Alicia just watched, amused, as he finished with his pickle flavoured popcorn. "So fucking weird," she said with a small laugh. It wasn't really that bad, actually. She just liked giving him a hard time. But it was a pretty decent snack for when you were drinking. And she liked pickles and popcorn, so why not mix the two together? When he started eating pickle flavoured ice cream? Then she'd be worried.

Following him into the sitting room, she took a seat on his couch as she studied her movie options. "Well, they're both full of explosions...." And didn't the war one have a hotter looking cast? That Scotsman was not a bad looking bloke. But that seemed like a painfully girl reason to choose a movie. Considering Drew's job, the other movie seemed like a more fun choice at the moment. "Let's watch the Bourne one first. I'd wanted to see that," she said, having not even realized it was out for purchase yet. Really, though, with practices and everything she hadn't had much time for movies lately. This would be nice.

Drew couldn't help it. He laughed. Hard. The sight of her jumping and the comments about flying, he couldn't even help it. "Well, just think of it this way, you've got a leg up on the Harpies." Ali was a great flyer, but he didn't think it had anything to do with a lack of breasts. Sometimes, he wished he had as much of an interest in the sport as she did. Unfortunately, he was much better suited to the undercover stuff.

Taking a moment to put in the proper DVD, he moved to the couch and took up his customary spot with one of the containers of chow mien. If nothing else, his love of Chinese food meant he was really good with a set of chopsticks. He chuckled briefly, still caught up on the image of her jumping and watching her chest. Bloody hilarious.

"So, what's up with you lately?" he asked, letting the previews run through. He knew the season was coming to the end, but that was about. "Congrats on making the finals, by the way."

One of the best parts of not having any tits was the ability to wear almost anything and not have to wear a bra. Sure, sometimes she wore a pretty hefty push up bra for public appearances to try to fill out some of her dresses that she was forced into wearing...but other than that? Totally not necessary. And she had literally no back or neck pain which is something large breasted women whinged about often. And it wasn't like her lack of breasts hurt her with blokes or anything. And why was she still thinking about her tits?

Alicia brought her legs up on the couch and crossed them before leaning forward and taking a handful of the pickle popcorn. She gave a shrug when he asked what was up with her. "The usual fucking shite. Quidditch, bars, more quidditch, and annoying inability to sleep more than a few hours at a time. Saw Geoff last night and that was a nice break from the norm." Fuck. Her life was fucking boring. Well, maybe it would get more exciting during the off season or something. Though, she highly doubted it. "Thanks," she responded to his congrats about the finals. "Hopefully we'll be able to kick some Falcon arse again." After all, it had been easier than she'd anticipated the last time...so maybe Puddlemere would get lucky again.

"So how're you?" she asked, genuinely curious. "How's your 'Claw doing?" she asked, hoping he didn't think it was too inappropriate of a question. Alicia didn't really know the girl at all but she'd seen her around and she was cute as hell. But she was also a Ravenclaw and apparently was involved with some illegalness or something...so she didn't really seem like Drew's type. Then again, what did Ali know about his type? Sure, they'd dated for a bit, but that hadn't worked out so....Alicia wasn't even going to pretend that she knew what type of girl would be a good match for Drew.

When the previews ended, he hit play and offered her a shrug. "Haven't really seen much of Geoff. He spends most of his time working the data while I keep my eye on Mandy and the activity at he Apothecary," he admitted, not really bothered with leaking some of the information to Ali. He knew he could trust her and it wasn't like she was going to be targeted. Even if she was, they'd have a rough time getting anything out of her. "He's a bit sore over the whole 'sleeping with the enemey' thing." There was little Drew could do about that. All he could do was trust his instincts and his instincts told him to trust Mandy.

"Mandy is ... safe for the moment, I guess that's something," he responded dryly. His life was far too complicated. He was constantly worrying about either Geoff or Mandy and it was starting to wear on him. "I think we'll all just be glad when this case is closed." Of course, the whole end of the case was only causing more stress for him. He'd promised Mandy he'd make sure she didn't go to Azkaban and so far all he'd mananged to do was make it look more and more like she was guilty.

"Speaking of Quidditch," he continued, changing the subject, "do make sure you kick some serious arse in your next game. I've got a good chunk of money set on you lot."
