WHO: Ellie and Liam.
WHAT: Attempting to casually doctor Liam's broken arm.
WHERE: Public Library
WHEN: January 5th
RATING: Low, probably.
STATUS: In progress.
Ellie found Liam quickly.
He was exactly where he'd said he would be, and Non-Fiction really wasn't very far from European History at all. That and he was sort of very tall -- nearly a foot taller than she was -- which made a bit hard not to see him, honestly.
Today Ellie was as excited as she ever managed.
There was a slight bounce to her step as she approached: bag on her back, arms full of seemingly random implements, smile growing. It wasn't every day something like this happened. She'd always been interested in trying to play doctor, but people nowadays could be fairly paranoid about their health; now more than ever, even small nicks and scratches could result in horrible complications. To be honest, Liam's attitude about the doctors was slightly perplexing to Ellie, regardless of his past trauma; she would have been bothering the medics all the time with questions in his position. But it was up to him, really, when it came down to it. His arm would have to heal eventually -- whether or not it got treated. Well. Probably. Hopefully.
She didn't think she'd make it worse by poking and prodding it a little. Medics had to start somewhere, didn't they? Hopefully this was pretty straightforward -- she'd brought a book along to reference during the process. And in the worst case, perhaps if making a splint really wasn't that easy, he'd find the bravery to go in to the real doctor because of it.
When Ellie reached his side, she gave him a slight nod in greeting, immediately laying out the things she'd brought. No time to waste.
"Hi," she offered, almost as a second thought.
