WHO: Sarah and Kori
WHAT: Some cousin-ly advice and delivery of a Christmas gift
WHERE: Madison Square Garden
WHEN: Saturday, December 24th
RATING: Low-ish. Probable cursing.
STATUS: In progress
All of her presents had been scavenged for long before Christmastime. Most everyone she'd gotten stuff for were all on Liberty, but there were a few who weren't. Most notably the family Stone. So Sarah had made up her mind to go back to the mainland, if only for a day. She could drop off her gifts and see how her cousins were doing. And making the little trip was a good distraction. From what? Well that was an easy question to answer. Between being bugged over her crush (if that was what it was) on David that probably wouldn't get her anywhere and the anticipation of the cavity-sweet ending that Rae would have with Eli on Christmas (as well as the anticipation of a gushing Rae), it wasn't too far-fetched to say a bit of time somewhere else wouldn't hurt anything. There were other people heading back for Christmas, and so Sarah had joined them for the trip across the water. No muss, no fuss. Well...no fuss aside from the couple of swimmers that were promptly shot on sight.
Once back, she'd headed for Madison Square. Hopefully Brandon, Leah and Kori would all be there. With all of the gifts she'd gotten packed into her backpack, she strode into the safehouse like she owned the place. A lot of the people looked unfamiliar, but that was nothing new. It didn't stop her from asking about her cousins. Apparently Brandon and Leah weren't around, but someone did mention that they'd seen Kori. She followed their directions, walking almost lazily as she went.
Eventually she found her. "Hey, Kor. I'd say 'Ho, ho, ho' but we both know I'm not jolly enough to be Santa Claus." She chuckled some, moving closer. "How goes it?"
