It was nearly impossible not to laugh softly at the eye-roll her nickname had received. “You know you love my threats,” Vienna shot back, her expression as serious as she could make it. Noah was anything but a boy, and she was reminded of that fact as she pressed up against him. The point of the nickname was to be teasing, though and not accurate. This felt like the first steps in getting back how they had been, though part of her knew they may still have issues to work out, but the big question had been answered, and now she knew at least that whatever this was, she was okay in calling it a relationship.
She didn’t need any more words, and had no desire to continue her line of questioning. How could she when his hands were on her, and the kiss was making her weak in the knees and just a little dizzy with need. It felt like every single nerve ending in her body was on fire, and all she could do was whimper into the kiss and slide her free hand underneath Noah’s shirt, her fingernails dragging over his skin as her hand moved restlessly over his back.
Being with Noah here, at her place, hadn’t ever been an idea she entertained. There were too many people; it lacked the privacy of Noah’s place. She didn’t want to wait the time it would take to get to his place, no, she could force herself to stay quiet just this once. “Now,” her reply wasn’t flowery or elegant, it was just one word nearly moaned as she slipped her hand under the waistband of his sweats. “Please,” That one word came out as nearly a plea, her desire overriding her patience, not that she ever had much to begin with.
